Maison François

I just love the interiors of the restaurant, worth going for that alone. It’s like something out of a Wes Anderson movie. Good for people watching too. The food is classic French brasserie, we ate steak frites which was cooked well. The dessert trolley looked delicious although we didn’t have time to partake.

Food is good (not amazing). Wine list is interesting but overpriced. Service is terrible. Loads of staff buzzing around the table the whole time, yet lots of drinks/food orders forgotten. Style of service is abrasive. Felt like they were rushing us all evening despite there being several empty tables. The setting is impressive but I everything else felt lacking. Many better places in the area than this!

We had a delicious dinner at Maison Francois. The atmosphere is relaxed but not noisy. The waiter was attentive but not intrusive. He explained the dishes well. When the food came it looked appetising and it was delicious. I booked the restaurant by off chance and I will definitely return.

Honestly reallyy exceeded my expectations. I thought it might just be another pretty but substanceless Mayfair spot, but the food was amazing. We started w the endive salad and flatbread and had steak frites, chicken, and lettuce as a side. The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was elegant and bright.

Great food and atmosphere, however we found the staff to be rude and will not be returning. We visited as two couples on a Friday night and ordered three courses each plus wine, cocktails and hot drinks. As we were served our desserts and hot drinks we were given the bill and told we would need to pay and leave. This was fine by us, we were happy to finish eating and leave. However, 5 mins later a waiter returned and aggressively asked us to leave - we hadn’t even finished our meal! This restaurant is not cheap and I would not have expected this service. I will not be returning, nor recommending to anyone.

I went to Maison Francois for a birthday dinner with my Girlfriend, I had booked mentioning a special evening, I called them same day to make sure they have a small cake and candle. when we arrive the staff was dry and lacked smile or any kind of welcoming gesture. The food was amazing but the staff was just super miserable and unfriendly. And they did not even serve us with the requested cake. Upon complaining after paying the bill the gentleman just replied “ oh sorry, Ill tell the staff” very superficially. Overall, great food but the service and most of the staff is miserbale. If you want to go there just beware of staffs attitude

Ristorante francese di livello assoluto. Cibo buonissimo, atmosfera super rilassante e con anche un bar/bistrot al piano inferiore. Tutti i dettagli sono curatissimi e la carta dei vini è lunghissima… per ogni palato. Consigliatissimo!
