Main Event Knoxville

Short staffed and disorganized. We paid for a level up package for my mother in law’s birthday. We would have been better off just walking in and paying for what we wanted as we went.

I went on a Saturday & this place was pretty busy. The 1st thing that hits you right in the face as you walk up to the doors is the obnoxiously loud music assaulting your ears. We get in line for play passes & when we get to the counter to tell the guy what we wanted it was almost impossible to do so. We couldn't hear what he was saying due to the music blasting right at us. The kids wanted to do the rope swing thing but had a 3 hr wait. So we went & got dinner. The food was good but the waitress needed a little bit more training. The busboy out did her. This kid was on top of things. The employees keep the entire place clean. The kids did the rope thing after dinner then we went bowling. Had fun doing that & it's well maintained. After bowling it was time for some video games. I tried to play one of those token pusher games & ended up getting screwed out of 27 credits. I told one of the employees about what happened & was told "yeah that happens from time to time. At the end of the night we'll open them up & tokens will be all over the place. " I asked what can be done about what happened to me & was told "nothing ." I spent pretty much $300 on the 4 of us that night & was basically told that we (main event) are going to steal some of your money because we can. I moved on to skeball & to my dismay got screwed yet again. Swiped my card but none of the balls rolled down. It also happened to my girlfriend 2 times in a row on different machines right after me. I went & got an employee. This guy tested all of the machines & made things right with us. We played laser tag & had a good time. They got us in there just in time for a match to start. We tried to get a pool table all night & didn't get one till 1:30am. If you're going to shoot pool you'll probably want to get there early.

Mostly for rich kids, served drinks but a kid environment. Staff was nice, and the entertainment was good,, but just not my cup of tea. Ps nothing was cheap,, take plenty of cash.

We love coming here.but this time the bartender was very rude and sketchy.we spend alot of money here and she treated us like we couldn't afford 12 dollar drinks.she was more interested in her cell phone than making our drinks.she made us so uncomfortable we left the bar after 2 drinks. But however the employee Amber is beyond awesome she fixed the broken machine and was fast,caring,concerned about our experience.she even helped us get 10 free tokens to compensate the 21 minutes it took to fix the machine.her attitude and smile and a true passion of LIKING her job ,she would be the reason we come back.she was beyond friendly and overall just a joy to be around.she really loves her job and she is definitely a keeper.she will be the reason we come back.however the bar tender will be the reason we will not stop at the bar for food & drinks if she is there when we come again. We spend 200+ every time we go to main event our money is to hard worked for so we don't want to feel unwanted some where that we desire to spend the money we work hard for,at place to spend it. Went for a birthday party for my son's friend at school. We had a great time

Same as others sign says go stand in line at the bowling desk only for them to send you somewhere else.The family wanted to play billiards they only have six tables bartender said some peoples time was about up took my number.We waited for over a hour no call went to leave six different people playing on tables and a different bartender Next day now still no call.Very disorganized will not be back.

Fun place to take your kids to and adults can have some fun too. Love that there are a lot of different things to choose from rather than just having somewhere to jump. This place is for everyone - jumping, climbing, playing games as well as eating and drinking. Great place for a child’s birthday.

The food is good but way overpriced. Kids run absolutely wild with little to no adult supervision.
