Ordered nachos and realized the green sauce was minty.. on nachos. I asked the server what the kitchen makes. She guessed at Salsa verde. I said salsa verde doesn’t have mint in it lol. She came back and said it was green onion, mint and cilantro. to a green goddess sauce. No where near a salsa verde. The cooks in the back may want to get look up how to make salsa verde. Service was good- she was sweet But please change your salsa verde to what it should actually be made of.
Went in for a couple of drinks with my boyfriend on the patio. Had the dry ribs and fish taco and one drink and within 45 minutes started feeling very sick. Unfortunately ended with me throwing up in the bathroom. Although our server was great my partner paid the full bill and as we were leaving we spoke to the manager did not offer any discount or reimbursement, instead quickly went to explain that the meat is cooked to standard and it was not the food. He then offered us to come back and ask for him in our next time, meanwhile I was so ill for dining and just paid an 90$ bill. The views are great but not worth it for the poor experience from management.
Great space upstairs to rent for a large group event. Includes appy service and bar access.
Food was very average and expensive. Really nice place to grab a beer but the food let down my expectations of this place. The pizza was well cooked but the ingredients were of very low quality. Would come back for a beer but nothing else than that
We came here for a Friend’s birthday. He had reserved some tables which was handy. This was the old Monk McQueen’s location, which tells you how long since I had been here last. The place was very busy but seemed to have lots of staff. It felt like it was a club as the music was pretty loud and we happened to be sitting right by the 1 man band. We didn’t catch his name but he was pretty good. We ordered at the table and he took my credit card for a tab. We ordered 2 drinks (Bourbon Blood Orange Wheat Ale and a Tilia Argentinian Malbec red wine) for dinner a Mahoney Burger (cheese etc) and Chicken Tendies both with fries, deciding to keep it simple. Both meals were really good. My wife couldn’t finish her fries so I happily did. She ordered a second glass of red wine while I decided on a glass of white wine. She got hers but I never received mine, which was fine as I wasn’t charged for it. Our server seemed pretty run off his feet. We tried to order from someone else we were told to order through our server as he handled our section. Funnily enough we had another server try and twice bring around someone else’s food to our table so we had a laugh over that. Overall a good experience though we cut out after about 2.5 hours due to the loudness. Glad we were able to celebrate our friend’s birthday and I’m sure he closed the place! Vegetarian options: They have some bowls, pizzas and sandwiches which are vegetarian and several vegan options as well. Parking: A challenging area to find parking. We had someone drop us off and got a ride home with someone. Carpooling, Transit or Uber/Lyft/taxi are better options also if you are drinking there, which is likely.
Fabulous time with friends. Loved the band.
Would be 5/5 but they NEVER answer their phones !!
The happy hour needs to have more variety. Innovation, and taste adds value and creates sustained buzz Summer is fast approaching so elevate your game . Lovely service by a hard working waitress by the way.
⚠️ ⚠️ Stay away from this place. Don't try their Dry Chicken Tendies (tenders). It was super dry, stale, oily and burnt. Worse than cheap 6-buck food you might get at burger teen. The fried was equally oily and tasteless. The waiter, a young lad with brown complexion with curly hair, was really annoying. He would come to the table interrupting your conversation for no reason. I would never go back..
