My wife and I recently moved into a condo just around the corner, and have eaten there four times. We enjoy both the atmosphere and the food, and would highly recommend Magnolia House. But that’s not why I leaving a review. I have spinal stenosis, which requires a cane and frequent rest stops. A couple of days ago, I sat down in one of the outdoor chairs, at a time when the restaurant was closed. In just a few minutes, a young woman came out the door, and in a very friendly tone asked if there was anything she could do for me. I explained why I was there; she laughingly responded that she was happy that I picked her place to rest, and offered to get me some water. The point is, she didn’t have to do anything, but she chose to be friendly and helpful. That is the kind of atmosphere that differentiates a good restaurant from a great one! Oh, we came back later when the restaurant was open, and had a great beer and burger.
