Magnifico is the best neighborhood coffee shop. They roast everything in house. Great sense of community. The drinks are handcrafted and packed with rich flavor.
Magnifico’s story is one of tradition, love, passion, and family. When I walked in, it was as if I was being welcomed into a home. I was greeted by gentle smiles and laughter - a warmth that touched my soul long before the coffee did. And let me tell you about the coffee. I got a Lavender Latte, which was recommended to me by one of the owners (Hi Adam!) and accompanied with a welcomed short story of how Magnifico came to be. They roast and brew their own Columbian coffee, and let me tell you…it was one of the best, if not the best, lavender lattes I’ve ever had. It was earthy, nutty, silky, floral, but not too many of any of those things that would make you even consider the word ‘unbalanced’. Sometimes lavender can taste forced and too overpowering in certain drinks - but it complimented the main taste of the roast very very well, was not too sweet, and ultimately delivered a unified and rounded tasting experience. I also had an Orange Earl Grey Scone just because it was calling my name. Sounds great, I know - and it was. But it wasn’t the only thing that caught my eye, they make and serve a Colombian bread called pan de bono - which is light, savory, fluffy, and happens to also be naturally gluten free. They have one that’s filled with Guava too for slight sweetness, and I definitely will be back to try all of it. Ask them about their almojabanas and empanadas too! I’ll stop now before I write an entire blog post on a Google review, but I can’t say enough about how great of an experience I had here. Check other people’s reviews for photos - they’re consistent. I was too enamored to remember to take good pics that would do my words justice lol. I wish I lived closer, I’d probably make it a point to visit every week. Stop in, say hi, ask their story. You’ll find yourself visiting for the coffee and returning for the people - and isn’t that what truly matters? Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
The coffee is amazing and the people are even better. The owners really take the time to get to know and appreciate the community. My dog gets a treat every time we go in, proud to call this spot my local coffee shop.
I love this café! The decaf is so delicious , I don’t miss having the real thing. I recommend the pan de bono con guava with your morning coffee if you are fortunate enough to be in the neighborhood as I am when I visit my daughter. Aside from the coffee and pastries, the ambiance is very warm and welcoming. It’s one of my happy places.
The coffee and pastries are amazing, and they have my favorite espresso in the city I buy for home. Owners and staff are friendly and warm.
Wow, this place is wonderful! Popped in for a quick coffee because it was on my way and was so impressed. Great selection and the coffee is delicious. Velvety, chocolatey, smooth! They also are a family owned biz, and roast their own right in the store. I will definitely be going back regularly whether it’s on my way or not!
Had the pleasure of visiting this coffee shop and everything was spot on- the vibe (they had a dj playing house music) the coffee (had their drip which was well balanced and their lavender latte which has to be one of the best lavender lattes in the city) their pastries ( they had Colombian pastries which was such a cool find in this area and tasted fresh) the hospitality ( service was amazing and attentive ) I will for sure become a regular and suggest you do too ☺️
