Overall, we had a great experience. We stopped by for a quick cocktail and lite lunch. The atmosphere was nice, bar service was fantastic, and the food tasted wonderful. Highly recommend the onion soup.
Went on March 16th to experience the Happening gourmand menu. Louis our server was fantastic and made the experience wonderful. We also had the pleasure of speaking with Hy the sommelier and he was also so kind and warm. And the food! It was spectacular, I savored ever bite! Can't wait to go back again some time.
Positive: good atmosphere, decent food, staff was very responsive and pleasant. No stress for parking given that you can valet at the hotel. Negative: hotel parking was very expensive (above $20). Although convenient, I was surprised given that I hate at their restaurant. Parking: Very expensive during the weekend
We recently had an amazing meal at Maggie Oakes. The cheese board was such a treat. Two of us ordered steaks for our entrees and one of us pasta. All were delicious. Desserts and drinks were also very good. The restaurant felt cozy and comfortable. Our server was friendly and very capable but the restaurant was clearly short staffed as far as servers go. We had a lovely evening, a memorable meal and would definitely return.
Ace was wonderful at the bar. Great food great service. He suggested the shrimps as a light dish and I had a salad all very well prepared Much appreciated will be back!!!
Not a fan of Maggie’s hamburger and the steak tasted like burnt. Very disappointed
Très bonne cuisine Une ambiance calme Le personnel est accueillant poli et aimable.
Merci à Geoffroy pour son service professionnel
Grabbed lunch here with the family. Kids loved their options (chicken fingers and grilled cheese). We started with the beef tartare. Absolutely delicious. Crostini killed the flavour so definitely eat them inbetween bites, not with the tartare on top. Taro chip was much better. Could've had a stack of those instead of the crostini. The soup that day was a lentil soup which was hearty and delicious and piping hot, which was good since we were coming in from the cold. I had the Nagano pork which tasted great, especially with the sauce. Zero complaints. My wife had the rice noodle stirfry which was super-unfortunate. I know some readers may go "you deserve it for ordering Asian food at a grill" but if you put it on your menu, it should at least be decent. Blob of rice noodles (overcooked or cooked ahead of time and left to congeal maybe?) with sauce poured on top, not fried together (super obvious since plenty of white noodles not covered in sauce). Super unsure if anything in that dish had ever seen a wok. I insisted my wife send it back but she was too full from the tartare to finish the whole dish anyway. Anyway, great place, I'm sure most of the food is good but do avoid the rice noodles, or better yet, the restaurant should just replace that menu item with something else.
