Friday night dinner, had the Family Style pick from menu. Ravioli w/Mushrooms, Eggplant Parmesan, Spaghetti and Meatball (1 big one) and 4-Cheese Ravioli. Sides included 2 salads, and drinks. Side of Calamari breaded and fried, and one other I can't remember, lol! All were generous portions, and equally delicious--as we each tried a variety. Oh, add the Bread and Olive Oil --nice, but typical touch, nothing special. Service was great, very knowledgeable Server, no rush, very responsive. Atmosphere was good, well lit, plenty of tables. One note: Opt for a table, not a booth if you're more than 3 people. Kind of a tight fit for us two bigger guys. Since we only ate dinner, cannot comment on the upstairs venue, but it looks like it would be fun! Drinks were equally good, Gin and Tonic, Blackberry Whiskey Sour (definitely recommended if you partake) a Moscow Mule, and a Glass (or 2) of wine for another on our party. Sorry only 1 picture, and just odlf Desert, but that too was really a treat- DO NOT PASS IT UP!! Took an Uber, but did not seem to be any parking close for the restaurant, unless it was in back? Definitely will visit Maggiano's again, probably closer to us on Alexandria VA.

I'll begin with the positives...our server Bry was great. She was friendly, attentive, and gave really good food suggestions. Although the restaurant was practically empty on a Sunday evening, we had to wait to be seated because there was no hostess at the hostess station. Our food was decent. My biggest complaint is the restaurant was filthy! There were leftover crumbs on our booth seats, and random plates and cups on the ledge next to our booth. The worst part was the bathroom...it was absolutely disgusting. I was shocked when I walked into a bathroom with a dirty toilet, filthy floors, and overflowing trash. Please see my attached photos. The bathroom looked as if it had not been tended to the entire day, which is completely unacceptable. If I had seen the bathroom before I ordered, I would have left. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant.

I was not impressed with my experience at Maggiano’s. The rigatoni arrabbiata was extremely spicy, way too spicy for how the dish should properly be prepared. It was also extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. I was also not impressed with the service. It took our waitress forever to come and take our order, bring us our food, and she never refilled our water once. We had to go up to the bar to pay our check because she never came back to collect it. There are much better Italian restaurants in the area.

We attended the cooking for kids event and experienced the unfortunate actions of a disgruntled mother who was loud, rude, and threatening. This was my 2nd event, and the 1st was fine. I believe this unfortuante event to be the result of lack of instructions when entering the establishment and getting the kiddos setup for the cooking event. I would recommend more staff members to provide instructions to select seats, and letting parents know how to conduct themselves in public.

Aman was absolutely one of the most gracious waiters I’ve experienced. His energy from the moment he introduced himself until we exited was the definition of sanguine. He clearly showed how much he enjoys what he does for Maggianos and that establishment should be grateful for having such a competent employee. If you ever experience Aman’s expertise in dining and leave anything less than a 20% tip you are either a loser, low life, or you hate yourself. So please make sure you share and return EXACTLY what Aman gives to you! :)
