This location is closed. When you do a search for it online it says it’s open. Their website hasn’t been updated in years so we got to the place and that’s when we found out it was closed. They have a note at the door suggesting for you to go to their other location. That was disappointing. At least update info online.
We were excited to try this place out based on the reviews. While it wasn’t horrible it definitely didn’t align with the positive reviews we read. The food was nothing special. In fact, most of the items we ordered tasted either bland, too salty, or reheated. The seafood was not edible. We ordered the seafood paella. we could not chew any of the seafood it was so rubbery. The chicken tasted reheated and definitely not fresh, the lobster still tasted like the sea and was slimy. The rice was over cooked. Honestly the only enjoyable dish was the calamari and the watercress salad with avocado. But there were wilted pieces rjar should have never made their way onto our plates. I wonder if they even washed them because if they did those would have been picked out. We arrived around 4 pm. While I appreciate good music, I also want to have to be able to have a conversation, we sat outdoors and could barely hear one another. Not looking for a party atmosphere before the sun even sets. The server marked our check as a party of 4 even though we were a party of 2, and added his gratuity. As a restaurant owner myself this isn’t common practice unless it’s a large party. Even so, if gratuity is added that needs to be made public knowledge. It should not just be placed in one spot to ensure everyone is made aware prior to ordering. It should be on the menu as well. The issue wasn’t the tip, bc he was going to get it anyways, but the feeling of being forced and the lack of transparency after a less than thrilling dining experience. The manager was kind and did his best to resolve our concerns. All in all, I wouldn’t go back to dine or recommend. If you like to get drunk and want good music you’ll enjoy it and you and the “blah” food won’t bother you bc you’ll be too drunk to care.
