Mad O Caribbean and Seafood

I eat here every time I'm looking for awesome Caribbean food in Jacksonville FL. I came with a few of my motorcycle sisters, this time I hade the ox tail and curry goat mix couldn't decide what to eat! Once again I wasn't disappointed food was amazing! My motorcycle sisters had the red snapper one grilled the other fried and another had the fish and srimp. Everyone was very satisfied with the food and had leftovers. I grabbed a chicken and veggie patty to go! Dietary restrictions: One of my motorcycle sisters is a vegetarian and was extremely happy with her food choice.

Ordered a 3 Way Combo w/ 2 servings of the blackened swai with a side of eschoviech and a serving of calamari. The fish absolutely tender yet not crazy fall-apart fragile and had an amazing seasoning to them. Calamari melted like butter in my mouth and had an amazing batter coated on them with an stunning sauce that was paired with it. Also a veggie Jamaican patty that had an delectable flavor profile. Highly recommend coming here for your seafood fix and I’ll be sure to come back soon for the rest of the menu!

Good food.

Ordered jerk chicken $17 received one leg quarter rice beans and 2 plantains. Could not believe the small portions. A drumstick and a thigh $17 wow. Taste no heat water down jerk seasoning. This my first ever review. Never going back!

The best oxtail hands down. I love this food and can honestly say i live every part of this meal from the rice and beans to the cabbage.

There was no line, no wait. Cashier took order, took money, and made food while having a phone conversation. Not much available. Curry Chicken already prepared, sitting under warmer; only option for sides were rice & peas and cabbage... Also cooked prior. I'm sure the food was good fresh. I only went once. (I normally try things more than once before giving a review). Not giving an option of sides/being allowed to change sides seems odd But since I didn't like the taste of either, I can't return. Fast service; adequate parking; limited seating; limited menu; good location; inadequate food.
