Mad Nice

Booked Birthday dinner by a friend and this place is so esthetically pleasing, our server Jaun/Jose's can't fully remember his name sorry but he was AMAZING, so knowledgeable about the food, and was genuinely polite. Food great as well.

Mad Nice is the best restaurant Detroit has to offer. The pastas (rigatoni and cacio e pepe) and sourdough may sound simple, but they are executed to perfection. The gelato rivals the best I’ve had in Italy. The service, specifically Tyree, is perfectly attentive without being intrusive. Don’t make a mistake and miss out on Mad Nice.

I popped in based on the recommendation of a co-worker and it was everything she said and more. I sat and the bar an to my surprise the bartender was a childhood friend I haven’t seen in ages. So I asked her for her recommendations as far as food, the spicy broccoli and pasta (I can’t recall what the name of the dish) the flavor palette, as well as the presentation was amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back here with my family and friends because it’s truly an experience to be had. I like to consider myself a bourbon connoisseur, so I’m very critical of bar selection wherever I go and they delivered on that as well. Mad Nice was truly “MAD NICE”…… lol corny but true. The five star rating truly doesn’t do this please Justice. Stop in and see for yourself and See Tianna.

Mad Nice is amazing! The food was so delicious. The Cacio e Pepe was hands down the best I’ve ever had. We also had the cucumber and corn which was so fresh and light. The apple crostata was sooooooo good. On top of that the cocktails are awesome. Tianna and Stephen gave us the best service. They were super nice and had great recommendations. We can’t wait to come back.

We finished our night at Mad Nice with a pizza and drinks. We loved the pizza but even better was the service, all the way around. In particular, Tianna and Stephen brought smiles and energy and heightened our experience two-fold. Met Chris the GM and his vibe and the entire team we noticed was in sync and focused on the experience. Been to almost of of the D restaurant scene which is really, really good, but the service at Mad Nice is best in town. Cool vibe as well. Will be back for a proper dinner. We did get a couple of desserts comp and they were fabulous.
