The food is excellent. Well prepared and nothing but fresh ingredients. I ordered the Tabuli to start. I had this before, from an Egyptian friend, but he put more couscous in it. This was a better version. Less couscous. It was less filling. I also ordered fresh lemonade with a hint of mint. Great on a hot humid day. For my main dish, I ordered the lamb chops with, a side of rice. The plate hade small side of green bell pepper, caramelized onion, yellow squash, and a nice cream sauce, to dip the lamb. Also some thin freshly baked pita. There was also boiled rice with a hint of parsley. All well condimented. The Lamb was tender and tasted excellent. A little vinaigrette in the marinade made this delicious. After this dish I ordered dessert. Some well made Blaklava. Some raspberry sauce on top of the plate. So sweet and tasty. Balanced this with a small cup of Turkish coffee ☕. I loved the atmosphere here. Wonderful service. When having any dish here, you feel as if you're eating in someone's home. Kudos to the staff at Luxor. I've paid more at other eateries and haven't gotten such wonderful service and food. I highly recommend it. Don't be afraid, you will be quite surprised. I will definitely return again.
