Lunasia Dim Sum House

We were in Pasadena to meet up with our son. Got hungry so we decided to get some DIm Sum. Didn’t realize there is a Lunasia branch here so we went and tried it. Like the one in Cerritos you have to check in and put in the number of people in your party. It’s a small restaurant and was extremely busy. We sat after 45 minutes. Wesley gave us a barcode to scan so we can order from the our phones. He gave us premium service even after observing how busy he was taking care of other guests. The food has the same quality as in their Cerritos restaurant. However some of their items on the menu were sold out. We still got our favorites come in although it took a while to come in. In the end we were all full and had to bring home some extra food that we didn’t finish. Wesley was eager enough to provide us a lot of to go boxes

Very busy and popular spot for Dim sum. The line moves fast and its worth the wait. We enjoyed the Shrim Har Gox and BBQ Pork Bao, The pan fried string beans were excellent and wsa the Mongolian Style Beef. My favorite part of the meal was the Macao Style Egg custard at the end!

Great food!

Bit pricey for dim sum. The food use to be better quality and worth the extra price before Summer 2019. The food standards have dropped to being on par with what you can get from other dim sum restaurants. Save your $ and go to the other dim sum places which offer similar quality for cheaper.

Food was good. However, the service was horrible. The reception staff had really bad attitude when we just asked for hot water. She said that is not her job. Maybe her job is just standing there and watching the customer.
