Lunasea

Went on a Thursday for tacos and tequila special. Of course the tequila was perfect I chose the mahi and pork tacos. The Pico topping was fresh, the pork was full of flavor. The mahi was fresh and flaky. I ended up having 2 more tacos because they were so good! The outdoor area was closed for the season but inside was clean, quant and a great vibe. I have another business trip planned in May and will definitely stop in again for some tequila and mahi tacos.

This place was SO Delicious!!!!! Visiting from Texas and they gave us the heads up that they were just serving brunch and we said that was fine. The guy that sat us was so incredibly sweet and our waitress Hailey was amazing!!!!! ❤️

Before we even walked in, we were greeted by a drunk bar manager who offered us 1 fresh chip at the door. We walked in right after 2 middle aged women who were clearly beyond drunk. That was red flag number 1 and 2. We sat at the bar and it was extremely slow which is to be expected in the off season. Besides Carol and Sharon that snuck away from the corporate trip, there was 1 other couple at the bar. Quality of drinks should be perfect right? Wrong! Bartender made a 28oz lime margarita for me, when she sat it down, I very clearly saw some sort of bug in my drink, I had her remake it. Red flag number 3. After she remade my drink, I tasted it, and I couldn’t taste any alcohol. It tasted like straight margarita mix. Old margarita mix at that. I tried to get it down just so I didn’t waste it because I felt bad enough that I had her remake it. $15 for old margarita mix is not the move. Jon Taffer and Bar Rescue couldn’t help them.

We came here, after a dinner date, to go down memory lane. We had 4 draft beers that came out to be $40, and we tipped the bartender an extra $3, on top of the gratuity. We went home. The end. Or so we thought. We checked our bank account last night, and there is a 2nd charge taken out, still currently pending, for an extra $16.29, about 2 days after the original charge had been processed. Weird. So, my husband called this establishment, last night, politely asking what this second charge was for and if we can get that refunded. The lady who answered the phone took down his cell number and said she would call right back with some kind of solution. Well, she never called us back to sort it out. My husband called this establishment a few more times, and nobody would answer. As a former server/bartender, myself, I find it to be quite strange for a dining facility to not answer the phone during business hours. Needless to say, my husband left them a voicemail, and they still haven't returned our call. So he decided to leave a review about our experience with Lunasea so far, and they have been denying all of his claims. I have screenshots of the call log, my bank account, and my Google maps stating time spent at Lunasea with the date and timestamp as well. The bartender was a super nice guy, but I can't say the same for whoever is running this place. Highly disappointed that they robbed us, and then decided to deny and gaslight us about it; rather than just fix the issue. 10/10 do not recommend using your bank card here.

Ok, so I went here the other night after eating somewhere else for some drinks. We got 4 draft beers, cheap ones. I cashed out and my total was $41! For 4 domestic draft beers, and on top of that, no one told me that the tip is included in the price a 20%, so my dumb self left another $3 making the total $44. That's expensive enough right?What else could happen? So I'm looking at my bank statement and they took the $44 out of my account the other day and then today they took another $16!!!??! For absolutely nothing and without my approval of any sort,didn't order anything or approve anything except those four beers and the $44, so as it stands, I've paid $60 fing dollars for four beers! Do not go here. They are insanely expensive and will Rob you blind. I'm trying my hard to get refunded but bank says I need to try to settle with the establishment first, currently waiting on a call back, doubt they will call, but if not I will do whatever it takes to get it solved through the bank and definitely will be boycotting this establishment. They are nice to your face, but will Rob you as soon as your not paying attention. You've been warned!
