Sit at the bar, eat the best crunchy tacos on the city, called the Regular, or any of the tacos for that matter. Enjoy a spicy melon margarita and all will be right with the world.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, nice bar, food and drink specials, and the margaritas were delicious. Definitely coming back!
Delicious food, highly recommended. Def a step above your typical Mexican food around town.
Food was definitely good, just wish it was hotter (temperature). Service was good, place was slow due to cold weather. Good food and felt very authentic Latin cuisine.
Chill place, great brunch on Sunday till 3. Highly recommend the Guacamole Fritters & Breakfast Burrito, and if you're feelin it get a Lunarita on the side. Solid spot to watch a game. The owner Rom is the man.
I can't believe I have lived 5 minutes away from Luna for three years and never ate here. So much wasted time. I had the Cachapa with pork, and it was truly one of the best things I have ever eaten in Birmingham. If you like savory/sweet combos, this will hit the spot. It isn't super sweet, but the corn in the pancake has a subtle sweetness. Partner had the Pabellon, and it was also very good. The restaurant has a fun vibe, and our service was great. There are a couple of latin places that get all the hype in Birmingham, but Luna is hands down better than all of them. My 2024 budget is about to take a hit because I will definitely be visiting again and again for that Cachapa.
Had been wanting to try this place. Had friends over tonight and we all decided to get takeout from here. The tostones were not as good as we expected but were ok. But the arepa, tacos and cachapas were excellent. We especially enjoyed the dessert fruit cachapa. We were able to check out the patio and indoor dining area upon pick up. Neat atmosphere and good, friendly service. Parking is very limited and gets filled up quickly. Overall we enjoyed the food. Something different for Saturday night dinner.
