Lulu's On Main

I found myself in Sylva on a long trip. I wanted to find a nice place to eat and found LuLu's On Main online. What an amazing experience. Our server Diana was the best. Super friendly and knowledgeable. She seemed to float between the tables with ease. We ordered a Garlic comfit with mushrooms, goat cheese and bread for an appetizer. I go out for dinner a lot and this may be one of my top 5 appetizers ever. Chicken piccata was excellent. Perfectly cooked chicken and sauce. Short Ribs were also perfect. We were having such a great experience, even though I had no room for anymore food I ordered their chocolate brownie (they called it something else which I forgot). I consider myself a chocolate cake and brownie connoisseur. This was also a top 5 ever dessert. It was perfectly warm dark chocolate "brownie" with exactly the right amount of hot fudge topping. I have a list of items I want to try when I visit again in a couple months.

This was one of the best food experiences I've had in quite some time. I ate here for lunch and had an absolutely amazing Bahn Mi sandwich with a decadent and delightful Pineapple Upside-down Cocktail. The pair was a match made in heaven! Thank you Lulu's for providing such consistently excellent service and the best quality food anyone could ask for! Vegetarian options: Great with accommodating dietary needs.

The restaurant was very clean, great table service. The food was lackluster. I ordered a Cuban, which was very dry. Onion rings were great. My daughter ordered the gyro, which was ok, but dry, very creamy feta. My sister ordered a cold pasta dish. She was not impressed. Ingredients were not mixed into the salad, very dry, they only offered lemon oil. I ordered the meatloaf patty sandwich to go for my husband, and it was delicious. I wouldn't go back. The environment is nice but we had to sit at a table center to the dining room. Not a fan. Also, in the middle of people coming and going. I don't like people all behind me with no privacy.

Pasta Grec salad is da bomb. Special usually awesome. Did I mention mouth watering deserts. Worth the drive to Sylva.

So good! The Mushroom and goat cheese appetizer is amazing! You won't be disappointed!!

The food is great BUT it should come with a warning. The food is rich in that the rest of your day might be shot. The butter, salt, fat and other goodness is prevalent. This is “I just got of the trail and need real food” food. Don’t get me wrong, I will be back. I will just plan on not doing much else after my meal. Think of eating a dozen various donuts in a thirty minute sitting. Yeah, like that. The fries! Get the fries.

Justin is the bomb. Great wine suggestions as he is an adept sommelier, and he has excellent hospitality skills. My fiancé and I are big fans of that guy!
