Actually good. Smoothie bowl coffee
The only thing on my plate that was seasoned was the cast iron pan that they insisted my food was served in. Service is fine, interior design is the one of the worst things millennials have invented.
Lauren was amazing. Plan enough time for whatever you are doing, they are busy. We ordered the Root Vegetable Hash and the Avocado Toast. Avocado Toast..first off let's not call it that. It is deconstructed toast and unflavorful guacamole. It was so bad I didn't eat it. Hash..somehow that didn't even make it to our table. When they did bring it out it was so charred that it ruined the taste of the veggies. Bummer because we make something similar to this at home and wanted to compare. Saving grace was their Lucy potatoes. Very yummy.
Great breakfast/brunch spot on the NE side of Grand Rapids (across the street from the old Creston High School). Deceivingly large inside, with a modern yet brutalist style. Waitress was super friendly (although the hostess was more concerned with socializing than seating us…) They have an off-brand soda choices which isn’t my personal preference. Party tried the cinnamon bacon roll which was the perfect mix of sweet & savory. Then we tried the smashburger with fries and the Reuben with a side salad. Both meals were large portions (which made the prices a little easier to swallow) and were very tasty. Overall, it was a nice visit.
Excellent food, pastry, service and specialty coffee! Had the chicken and waffle, amazing, the boss had the hash with chorizo which she said was excellent. Plan ahead as wait times during the weekend can tip upwards of an hour but there is an online waiting system so you don't have to wait at the restaurant. Parking: Small parking lot, parking on side street or across the street at school
The food is delicious. Takeout was ready 15 minutes after the quoted time, which isn’t devastating. The atmosphere is very modern, like a converted industrial space, but it’s so insanely popular that it’s packed to the doors and a nightmare to wait around in. Parking: Limited onsite parking.
Last time I was here this was not a 4 Star but a 1 Star. The food tasted great, service was way better. Last time I was here before today the food was burnt, the service was not good and it seemed like everyone that worked here was rude or temperamental. Whatever changed I'm glad and I'll be back! Delicious food, great service, nice place!
A friend and I met here for breakfast. I had a homemade quiche with Lucy potatoes. All homemade food and pastries. The whole experience was outstanding. I will be back!
