The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their products. The selection of products is outstanding and well curated. There's a good core range of items to keep coming back for and also always something new to try!
Luc's European Meats, located at the Calgary Market on Blackfoot Trail, is a prime destination for artisanal meats, with my recent visit focused on purchasing their Andouille Sausage. The sausage, yet to be tried, displayed promising qualities of expert seasoning and high-quality craftsmanship. The staff at Luc's were knowledgeable and friendly, enhancing the shopping experience with their insights into the preparation and origins of their meats. The shop itself was inviting, clean, and well-organized, making it a pleasant place to browse. In brief, Luc's European Meats is an excellent choice for those seeking premium, artisanal meats, with their Andouille Sausage appearing to be a standout product. Their commitment to traditional methods and quality is evident, making it a recommended spot for gourmet meat enthusiasts.
Just went to the location at the west Calgary Farmers’ Market location and it was absolutely unreal customer service. Karen knew everything about cheese and went above and beyond to make recommendations to us, let us sample different cheeses, and explain the different types to us - very friendly and knowledgeable. Parker (I think that was his name?) helped us with our meat selections and was also excellent at helping us choose. It’s rare to feel that well taken care of, not rushed, and to have staff that know that much about the products. Very happy!
Everything you need and super friendly.
A week ago ordered some meats. When to pick it up, got the information that they don’t have my order. I was told quite rudely of this. Would never go back to this place and do not recommend it.
It would be nice if the staff was more attentive to the customers rather than ignoring them. I was not pleased to see the older gentleman completely look up at us, and ignore us as we were waiting to pay. As a small business owner myself, customer service is always my priority. Do better.
A tiny, carved-out corner of passion and enthusiasm that punches way above its weight. I've been several times, and been taken on a journey each time. Sometimes similar, sometimes different (depending on the cheesemonger), there's always a dedication to quality, and a desire for evangelizing fine craftsmanship. Seriously. Just walk up, tell them your experience with cheese, and let them guide you. You won't regret it. I'll be back - probably too often. Edit: spelling.
Great sausage and cheese. Excellent customer service. Thanks for the Irish Guinness cheese today. We'll be back for more
