Lucky Platter

Lucky Platter is a a true gem. Very tasty food, wonderful staff and a great owner. My favorite dishes at Lucky Plater are: Swedish crepes, tandoori salmon, pull pork tacos with a most amazing pineapple salsa and pumpkin soup. 5 ⭐️ all the way!

The Lucky Platter on Main Street in Evanston has good food, fast service and an interesting decor. Opened over 30 years ago. It has an eclectic menu serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. A great place for a quick meal.

Ordered takeout and my receipt clearly states that I’d like for my tomatoes to be swapped for potatoes. Came home and no potatoes.

My husband and I have been stopping here for years whenever we made our drive in to visit Vogue Fabrics in Main. We have never been disappointed. Love the eclectic art and atmosphere. And the food is fresh and very good. Vogue Fabrics has since moved to warehouse location but son and his wife have moved into Evanston. So now this is our place to eat whenever we visit. Keep up the great work!

Great salmon Benedict

I've been going here for over 20 years and I still love it. I have introduced friends and family to this restaurant and everyone enjoys it.

Unfortunately server, guy with glasses, is rude and made me uncomfortable. Was ordering my food and got cut off very rudely while I was talking to him about my order. Not a pleasant experience at all very cold and rude. Won’t be coming back
