Beautiful place for a business lunch. Ambiance, food, and service are all exquisite. I look forward to returning.
We came for the Valentine’s Day set menu and was super excited to try this place out. The ambience and atmosphere was intimate and romantic. Our server was great and very attentive. While the food was flavorful and well balanced, we were thoroughly disappointed with the portion size. There were barely two spoonfuls for the soup, and the pasta dish was minuscule. For the price we paid, we were unsatiated and had to grab a burger afterwards. Maybe they ran out of food and had to portion it out ♀️. Would not recommend going back for the set menu at the price point.
This place is a culinary star in Atlanta. The food is delicious. We had the chicken liver pate (5 stars!), the polenta (SO good), the taglioni bolognese, and duck (cooked perfectly). A small restaurant with a big voice. The service is some of the best I've experienced anywhere. Ashley, a true professional, was absolutely wonderful and contributed to a fabulous experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for ANY occasion.
The food, wine and vibes were great, our server was knowledgeable but inattentive.
Visit for the food. Stay for the service. Return for the experience. Parking: Lucian will validate the parking tab
I LOVE Lucian. I've been for lunch and dinner and both are incredible. The interior is cozy and chic without being stuffy or uncomfortable. And the food (especially at lunch) and cocktails are always a 10/10. I've come for date night, with my mom for Mother's day, and with my girlfriends for a nightcap and it's always the best.
The food at Lucian is amazing, some of the best shareable plates you can get in the city, bar none. The wine selection is also top notch and expertly curated. However, on my most recent visit I had an issue that has left me questioning whether I will return. The restaurant has a sensible 2-hour limit on table reservations, though sometimes in reality you have 2 hours and change. On this visit, there were odd, and awkward delays in the dinner's coursing (25 minutes, for example, between our 2nd courses and very small--two small plates--main course). I assume there was a problem in the communication between front and back of house. This left us scrambling towards the end of our dinner, and being treated rather inelegantly by the staff for something that was not, in the end, under our control. I suppose it is now incumbent on the guest to make sure their plates arrive at a reasonable time? Very disappointing. In short, take care. If you haven't been to Lucian in a while, it doesn't seem to be like what it used to be.
This is one of my favorite places in Atlanta. The ambiance, the food, and the wine list make it a great place to have a sophisticated evening. Another plus is their well-curated collection of books for sale.
