LUCETI'S on 25th

We had a 5 o'clock reservation for 7 people for dinner. And as we're being seated, we're told that we had to be out of the table by 6:30 because the table was booked for another party. Poor to ordering or food, we were told they only had 3 orders of scallops. If we were interested, we needed to order now. ( REALLY, they just started the dinner shift). We ordered our dinner at 5:35 and the dinners were delivered at 6:10, leaving all of us 20 minutes to eat and vacate the table. At 6:30, the waitress brought us dessert menus, I mentioned we wouldn't have time since we were required to leave the table. Our v waitress went and asked her manager, and he confirmed we wouldn't have time. We were all disappointed with the arrangements but the waitress was gracious.

So so good!! As a NJ native, this is one of the only authentic southern Italian restaurants that i have found in the bay area. You can tell by the quality of staff and menu that this place knows what they are doing

Wife enjoys a traditional Italian restaurant on date night for drinks and dinner, so this is the place to go.

Foods not bad, service is okay but the owner / manager (an Indian) was really not good in service of his clients. * Note: I lowered one star since the owner said I was not there to make this review. Our year end party there was on 12/15. I would have misunderstood the dark tall waiter as the manager / owner. I apologize for this mistake. However, this guy did give cheese powder (Parmesan cheese?) to everyone on one side of the table of our group but denied to give me even requested. He pointed the cheese in the middle of the other side while I was not able to reach. Poor service!

We came here for a romantic Christmas Eve dinner. I had been wanting to try this place for a long time and we finally got our chance! As soon as we entered, I could tell it was a special place. There were regulars at the bar, many people were greeted by name when they entered, the place was packed and the servers were incredibly friendly and warm. Such a wonderful atmosphere. And the food? Absolutely delicious! We loved everything we had and ate tons of their complimentary bread, which is served warm (is there any other way?!) Highly recommend a visit!
