It was a very busy night at Lucca. Our reservation got pushed almost 45 minutes due to no open tables. Once seated, the service was quick and friendly. However, small details were missed like a spoon to eat the soup that was ordered. They brought the soup, but no spoon. It took a few minutes for the wait staff to check in and discover the problem. As for the main entree, I had the sturgeon with baby scallops and sage butter. It was a good-sized filet with a small salad on the side. Next time, I will order a small pasta plate or additional side to round out the meal. Parking: The lot behind the restaurant on NE 23rd has 10-12 spots, all of which were occupied, and the drive was blocked by another vehicle. Luckily, I noticed this and backed out of the driveway in time to snag a parking spot on NE Fremont adjacent to the lot.
Delicious food and great service. The clams were cooked perfectly and the brown butter pasta was some of the best I've ever had. Our server Steven was a gem, knowledgeable and courteous. I'll definitely be returning soon.
Dylan and his crew were excellent as always ❤️. The food always meets expectations and then some! We had a group of seven for a birthday that was handled superbly! Birthday dessert was a surprise that was a sweet way to end a beautiful evening friends surrounded by friendly staff ❤️ Parking: Parked right in front of the restaurant
