Luca

A friend of mine had recommended Luca, and I’m so happy I finally made it out here. I really enjoyed everything we ordered — especially the scallops. The service was great, and it was a good spot for a fun catchup with my friend. Drink: Fig cocktail (rum, fig, balsamic reduction, lime, mint, and soda water) Food: Shaved Brussel Sprouts Caesar Wild Mushroom Fusilli Scallops with risotto

Travis was a delight this evening. Started with some complimentary champagne for our anniversary. Then recommended some great wine and even though I have a gluten intolerance, he mentioned that the semolina flour used there was pretty reduced in gluten content and it rarely upsets the stomach's of those with gluten issues (as long as it's not full celiac) and he was spot on. My stomach feels completely fine after my dish. He followed it up with a delicious small dessert on the house. We love Luca and will definitely be back. I had a phenomenal experience at Luca! Went in a group of 4. The drinks were good, and the service was beyond phenomenal. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. The house burrata is amazing- you have to get it! Got the braised short rib, and honestly, one of the best short ribs I’ve ever had. So good and can’t go wrong with it. People in our party swore by the burrata stuffed chicken and said it was amazing! One person got the pizza and it did have a bit too much flour stuck on the bottom of the crust, but it didn't overshadow the overall excellence. Overall, Luca exceeded my expectations, and we loved it! Dietary restrictions: Have celiac, they have gluten free bread and it was a great alternative! Waiter was very understanding.

Great service and very good high quality food (albeit overly salted, we were unable to finish the mushroom pasta) We left feeling confused about their 22% creating happy people hospitality -- it wasn't clear if it included gratuity or not

3.5. Dined tonight during restaurant week and left with a mixed opinion. Overall our meal was good-enjoyed the Brussel Caesar Salad and Mussels, as well as the Shrimp Fra Diavolo and Mushroom Fussili. Braised short rib was okay, but nothing out of the ordinary. Our service in general was fine. However, at the end of our meal we realized nearly every other table had been offered bread and butter to start the meal and a mini ice cream/mousse to end the meal, which we were not. Not clear if we missed something in our reservation, but it appeared as though we were one of the only tables not offered these 2 things, ultimately making us feel weird about our experience.

Came for Denver restaurant week and was one of the best meals we had in Denver! We got the mussels, bolognese, shrimp tagliatelle, and short ribs. So incredible. And our waiter Joey was such a delightful soul. Thank you so much!

When walking through the doors of Luca, one is immediately transported to the streets of Florence, Italy. This quaint establishment is able to harness both the charm and cuisine from the region it claims to resemble. Even during restaurant week, the service was impeccable. The roasted eggplant and the chicken Parmesan were top notch.
