This place is awesome. Our server was a younger male and he was super cool. Showed us how to crack open the crab, which was super helpful. The two other girls who were there were also amazing and very helpful. Shout out to Martha Stewart, felt super thankful to know we ate at the same place. 10/10 experience. I really enjoyed that our server sounded Jonah Hill.

Must go to if you are looking for great crabs for a great price and served with the best service in Baltimore. It was at least 15 people in my group and the servers did a marvelous job tending to all of our request. The CRABS were so good as well as the fries, mussels and wings. They are worth the 2 hrs drive once a month. Kid-friendliness: They offer a kids menu and the service provided to kids is as nice as it is served to an adult.

LP Steamers is a Baltimore staple, and the best place to Maryland style crabs. If you are hungry, I recommend ordering the boat load of food that is a sampler of everything. You can get it fried or grilled. I recommend grilled as fried can get too heavy/overwhelming. The boat load of food also comes with a beer pitcher, so definitely the way to go. They also have the best crab cakes that I have tried in my life. The atmosphere is casual and great place to meet with friends on a weekend afternoon.

I ordered take out of 2 large crabs and I didn't check the crabs right after pick up and after I got home found both crabs are missing the largest legs. The place has No HONESTLY at all.

All tableware and utensils are flimsy plastic (with a couple exceptions). So, basically the user friendliness of lunch service on a long haul economy class airplane flight. Would have enjoyed everything much more with some metal utensils and one or two real plates. Atmosphere like a family run restaurant and staff incredibly warm and helpful though, which to me outweighs everything else.

Stopped here before heading back home to philly. Well worth it. Definitley a gem in baltimore. Very hospitable and crab to die for. Had to get 2 platters.

The crabs were delicious, but a few were smaller than expected for large crabs. The sevice was great, when I finally got some. I was sitting on the second floor alone and had to call to get any service. Once I got service, or should I say more people joined the floor, the service was on point. I only wish they had a selection of vibations.

Crabs were great, a little heavy on seasoning. Fry platter was generous and fresh. Don't get the broccoli side. Efficient server.
