This was another great find which I had been told about from a friend. I ordered the very first item at the top of the menu, Linguini with Clams Sauce. It was very good if not the best I’ve had. I admire the fact that I didn’t get a pile linguine and only a spoon of sauce. The chef balanced the sauce very well and a good number of clams as well. I would imagine you would have a hard time NOT finding a wine of choice here. The bar is also well stocked. Next visit, I plan to try the “Diver’s Scallops”. Excellent! (Read about parking below) Parking: I arrived at 11:10am for lunch. I was one in six vehicles in the lot. When I came out a little after 12:15, a belt runner was hustling the lot and had it completely jammed packed. I waited 15 minutes for him to reposition vehicles so that I could leave. No problem-I wanted to take nap after that meal anyhow. Don’t let something as minor as parking keep from experiencing Lovers Seafood.
4 Stars for the service, I thought the food was delicious. The portions are on the smaller size. My father got the Gumbo which wasn’t too good but this isn’t a place that I would order that. The oysters were nice and fresh as well as the food. The dessert I think was the best part. The cocktail menu had various great options and the atmosphere was very good. The sauce for the fish and chips was delicious one of the best I’ve had. I would think the service would be top tier for the price you pay but there were times when our drinks were completely empty or we were ready to order another cocktail. It was valet only when I went n a weekday at night.
I celebrated my girlfriend's 60th birthday here. It was our 1st visit. We sat in the patio area (it was great). Our server, Raven (aka: Kenny Loggins), was fantastic and attentive. The food was amazing. They give you dill flavored popcorn. She had the halibut with mushrooms, I had the crusted rainbow trout on couscous salad, and we shared the sea scallops on roasted broccoli and cauliflower with coleslaw. The keylime pie was delicious and rich. The lighted yard at night was great for picture taking. Parking: Limited restaurant parking, they use valet parking. We parked in the Chase bank parking lot next door. Kid-friendliness: There were plenty of kids there. No kid menu, though. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair friendly.
Forgot half our drinks and food. Salad was good but seafood was not good. Rubbery shrimp poorly seasoned, disappointing cocktail sauce with lack of flavor. Overall quite poor.
We've been to the sister restaurant Shinshei, and have been wanting to try the seafood here. It did not disappoint. The service was impeccable as well.
Parking: The valet is a racket. We parked behind resturant no issue.
