The Traditional Mousaka was delicious!!
The restaurant was very friendly and the hostess was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. She anticipated issues and made great recommendations. I could not begin to finish the salad, however, I did achieve clean plate club with the gyro. To see how awesome the food looked just see my pics. Also, come in from the east for easier access to parking.
Ordered a gyro and greek roasted potatoes. Have been here in the past for good experience but not now. Gyro meat was so greasy the pita fell apart. The meat had been grilled on a flattop that was so dirty it left chunks of black grit on the meat. None of the clean crispy gyros I have received previously. Roasted potatoes…ha! Deep fried potato wedges with none of the nice greek seasoning like before. Counter staff was coughing and sneezing, very uncomfortable. It is unfortunate they have gone so far downhill!
My friend and I shared a small chopped salad and had some leftover for her to take home. The potato salad was overprocessed, almost like mashed potatoes.
Gyro on pita bread was good. Tried the mousaka dish as well, delicious with eggplant. Prices: ok. Overall: good
I used to go here frequently but I had the most horrific encounter with the condescending owner. His employees looked terrified of him and overall miserable to be at work. Talking down to customers is not the way you build a customer base. It shows he no longer cares about his customers. Way better places to go to in South Tampa.
Had the chicken salad panini which was great. Wife had a rice bowl and cleaned the bowl. The greek chips with Tzaziki sauce are the best! Parking: Parking is for a busy shopping center and a lot of spaces are reserved for specific businesses. Spaces seemed narrower than standard in the back.
