I am just blown away. It has been hard to find really good Jamaican cuisine here in Austin but this by far was one of the best experiences I ever had. Not only was the food delicious and filling, you can tell that it was made with love. The kind lady was so nice and generous, she reminded me of the love and extra care my mema would give to us 14 grandchildren that piled up in her home every summer...it felt like home and I will definitely be returning Those oxtails were melt off the bone tender

I was excited to try this place today for lunch because I love Jamaican food and most of the reviews were great, however, my experience was a bit lackluster. I ordered the brown stew chicken...the menu posted at the food truck said the price was $12.99 but they charged me $13.99. I also ordered 7 jerk wings...again the menu said $9.00 but they charged me $10.50. On top of that, after I got my receipt I noticed an additional charge of $1.66 labeled processing fee. What??? And of course they want you to tip as well. When the lady flipped the payment terminal over for me to pay, it just had a total with no breakdown. This kind of thing is very frustrating. It's a principle thing...don't tell me one price then charge me a higher amount...and don't nickel and dime me with processing fees that are not advertised. On to the food...I will say the jerk wings were very good. They were very flavorful and tender. The brown stew chicken however was very dry and not very tender. Plus, the brown stew chicken plate was filled mostly with rice and I felt the portion of chicken was a little on the skimpy side.

Visited for the first time today. The jerk wings are the best I’ve had! They’re flavorful and fall off the bone. I’ll definitely be back. The service is amazing too.

She gives samples, so you can’t go wrong! We went after a hike, so brought our appetites. A lot on the menu - from oxtail to fresh juices to cakes. Meats are your choice of jerk, curry, or brown stew. We got the jerk wings (7 for $10), Mac and cheese, and the brown stew oxtail+chicken combo entree. Entrees come with greens, beans and rice, and fried plantains. It was all incredibly good. I wanted to order the rest of the menu and take it home for later. Louis is a gem for the samples and advice. It’s great to get a proper introduction to Jamaican food. (She’s graduating to a bigger truck soon! Yay! Go by to help her pay it off!) Lovely chef. Lovely food.

So glad we found this gem! Louis, the owner is super sweet and her food is on point!! We tried the soursop juice- amazing, fried plantains & the rum cake. Wish we had room for some of the curry chicken but we will definitely be back soon ♥️

The Lady working here was super sweet. She made sure that I tried a sample of like everything we talked about :) The food, drinks, and desserts are very tasty and unique. I will definitely be revisiting. 100% recommend!

Food overall was flavored pretty well. The goat was pretty good, but the jerk pork was lacking a bit of flavor and the spice wasn’t there at all. The oxtail tasted great but wasn’t quite tender enough. The brown stew chicken, steamed veggies and rice and peas were amazing. Overall I’d give this 3.5 star if I could instead of 4. If I were to go back I think I’d only get the stew chicken.

Ordered the BBQ pork with cury chicken. Had good flavor, but both the pork and chicken were extremely over cooked and dry. Everything seemed to be a day old and reheated. They charged me $25 for an $18 plate, which we ended up throwing away as it was barely edible. They were very nice ladies but I will not be returning.
