We did a late night for pre birthday dinner with my wife and daughter. The food was just OK, but the real problem was the rudeness of the waiter and the kicker was when he brought over the Parmesan cheese with a fat fly fluttering around in it. He seem offended when my wife pointed it out. He took the bowl went to the bar, scooped at the fly and brought back the bowl with half of the Parmesan left in it. We won’t be back Hard stop

Hi love, this restaurant in Cos Cob, Connecticut. I wanted to find a traditional, old-school Italian restaurant, and this is it. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The people are so friendly and the food is excellent. I like traditional Italian food, not nouvelle cuisine! This is where to go if you like steak, pasta, or seafood. Their chicken Parmesan is excellent. They have a large wine selection, and a great bar area where you can have a dinner or a party of 12. The only dish I’ve ever heard anyone complain about in my groups is the pasta Primavera. But everything else has been great. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want traditional Italian food.
Horrible service ! They hire bartenders with no experience and absolutely clueless. Worst of all, saw the manager refilling bottles with cheap vodka !
