A great experience before heading across the street to the Annenberg for a show. Shared a half portion of the creamy gnocchi and the banana foster waffle. It was the perfect amount! Everything from the beautiful interior design and friendly staff to the delish food made for a wonderful lunch.
This is one of the best spots in university city. The food is absolutely incredible and the service is amazing. They also have awesome cocktails.
My opinion, Louie Louie is the absolute best cocktail bar in philadelphia. I've been here a few times, ordering a different specialty cocktail each time. Sometimes two. Sometimes even three. I judge cocktail Bars by their ability to make a perfect egg white foam. Louie louie? They've never missed the mark. Huge fan, intend on coming here until I'm dead.
An anchor in West Philadelphia along with the Inn at Penn. Wonderful lobby with a warm, inviting fire. Great food and even better service. Ask for Ali. Put it on your list if you're headed to Penn or Drexel for any reason. Reservations are recommended.
My best friend and I came here for dinner and it’s definitely worth the hype. The dinner and dessert was delicious. Definitely worth coming back!
Honestly? An elite brunch spot. I cannot speak to dinner here because I've only had brunch here on multiple occasions. The atmosphere is incredible inside. I think brunch can be an exceptionally difficult meal to get right but I'd say the fare is definitely above average. This past visit I had the Smoked Salmon and Avocado Tartine. It was good but could have used more salt. Their french toasts are very good (comparable to Green Eggs). Overall it's truly one of the better brunch spots in Philly.
