I first heard about this restaurant several years ago from co-workers and because of this, I've always wanted to try this restaurant (before it arrived at the Red Rock location). After the Red Rock location was built, I kept telling my family that I need to try it one day, but I never got around to it. Also, since my daughter is allergic to peanuts, I have a tendency to keep her away from Thai-inspired restaurants because of their robust usage of peanuts and cashews in their entrées. I know that Lotus of Siam does a wonderful job of asking everyone in the party of their allergies, if any...but for me, I'm just overly paranoid for my daughter. When you walk up (and in) to the restaurant, you can't help but notice the elegant décor...this is typical considering the restaurant is located inside one of Station's luxurious properties. You're immediately greeted by the friendly hostesses (well, at least that was the case on the evening of 7 Apr 2024). My wife and I were seated instantly (we had reservations), and I was highly appreciative of them sitting people at every other table until the restaurant started getting busier. I'm not a fan of those restaurants that like to place everyone in one section, next to each other, even though the entire restaurant is empty...sorry, I like my space, if attainable. Our main server did a great job the entire night...I forgot his name, but I'm going to assume the name on the receipt (Elrich) is accurate. He was very attentive and moved very quickly the entire evening. In fact, of noteworthy mention, I noticed all servers were moving quickly and efficiently during the entire visit! Within a respectable time frame, our server took our drink order, followed with our food order several minutes afterwards. Our drinks were the Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc (SB) and Lychee Blossom. Aside from the SB tasting magnificent, I won't elaborate too much on the wine. The star drink of the table was clearly the Lychee Blossom (okay, maybe that's a little biased opinion since it was my drink, but it was phenomenal nonetheless). That Lychee Blossom is easily in my Top 5 specialty drinks of all time, and in my Top 3 (if not the first place winner) of all Lychee-centric drinks I've had in my life. For our entrées, we ordered the Chicken Green Curry w/Sticky Rice, Koong Sarong, and Chicken Pad Thai. I've had bacon-wrapped shrimp on several occasions, but this style of bacon-wrapped shrimp with wonton wrappers (Koong Sarong) brought it to a whole new level. The flavors of the Green Curry and Pad Thai were extraordinary! I loved how fresh it all tasted along with all the ingredients that accompanied both dishes. The one thing I was shocked about is how the rice doesn't come with the curry - I had to pay a side order of sticky rice for $5. Definitely didn't lose any sleep over it but it is shocking that an Asian-inspired business wouldn't include their main staple as part of the meal. Coming from an Asian dude, I was slightly disappointed with that - oh well, life goes on. This is a great restaurant for a date night; however, it wouldn't be my first pick to bring a big family that is starving, or a bunch of people looking to get massive amounts of food at a cheaper rate (like those conventional Thai restaurants). Keep in mind that this restaurant screams elegance and is situated in Red Rock Resort and Casino, so eat a banana or a ham sandwich before coming here, if you're one of those heavy eaters - you have been warned. Otherwise, I feel that the portions are adequate, especially when you consider what is a respectable portion size for humans. Overall, I enjoyed the first-time experience and I can definitely see myself visiting another time since there were so many entrées that were catching my attention. The price-to-quantity/quality considering the location, was adequate/reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Already the rare Las Vegas recipient of a James Beard Foundation Award, Chef Saipin Chutima named Best Chef: Southwest in 2011, Lotus of Siam needs no introduction – though its recreation on Flamingo and fanciful digs at Red Rock suggest the Chef’s children have bigger things in mind about the Restaurant’s legacy going forward. Having visited the unassuming icon of Thai Food several times prior, Friday evening found the concept from Tao Group owner Lou Abin and Lotus of Siam’s Bua Food Group at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa as busy as it is beautiful. Built out of former Buffet space, lanterns and hanging vines creating a vibe across spaces from bar to the back, it is with a truncated version of Chutima’s Northern Thai traditions that Lotus at Red Rock pays homage to the original with service more appropriate to Summerlin. Requesting everything level five of ten, Thai Coffee and signature Riesling a prudent choice for those looking to quell the fire, Dinner began with tender Fish Cakes alongside Issan Sausage that is snappy, sour and worth every word of praise. Not forgetting better-than-expected Egg Rolls or Nam Prik Ong teaming with Chilis, Vegetables and Pork Rinds used as delivery mechanisms, Garlic Crispy Prawns continue to earn “Mom’s Highlights” status with edible Shells still on and varying textures from bite to bite. All in on Noodles and Curry, Beef Pad See Ew well executed but lost in the wake of Khao Soi and Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp, additional Rice is well-utilized in sopping up the Sauce from Crispy Duck Chu-Chee, Panang Curry with medium rare Ribeye or Deep Fried Fish with Chilis. Not exactly “known” for sweet stuff, though the Red Rock iteration seems intent on correcting that, Dessert arrived featuring everything from time-honored deep fried Bananas to Chocolate Fondant and Pineapple Upside Down Cake served warm with Coconut Gelato and a Cherry on Top.

Honestly - we were back and forth deciding on whether or not to come here based off the low rating compared to the other restaurants around. We decided to try anyways, and I am SO glad we did. Don’t let the lower reviews deter you! I got the pad see ew with sliced beef, which was delicious, and my partner got the khao soi curry with short ribs and both plates were entirely cleaned at the end of the meal. Service was amazing - both the host and our server were incredibly friendly and attentive. Meals came quick, and drinks were full. The atmosphere is spacious beautifully done. Definitely recommend this restaurant for some delicious Thai food!
