Place was closing went we get there 8:00pm but was almost full for a Wednesday night. They have on the menu alcoholi beverage but they don't sell any at that time. They take more then 30 min for me appetizer and more then like 20 min for some juicy’s if you want going there during the week cause it’s to slow in the weekends

A mi familia y a mi nos gustó, hubo buena atención, precios accesibles, buenas porciones de comida, el sabor de lo que pedimos estuvo bien ( mondongo, mojarra, cazuela frijoles) Volveremos

Servicio Fatal!! Llegamos 3 personas a las 4:30 y el restaurante estaba vacío las meseras todas sentadas en una mesa hablando y viendo el teléfono nos sentaron ordenamos aperitivos y se demoraron más de 25 min y solo eran 2 mesas en el restaurante se podía escuchar la campanilla de que la comida estaba lista y ninguna mesera se paraba a recogerla, los platos de los aperitivos fríos pedimos refrescos y nunca nos los relleno nunca chequeo nuestra mesa si estábamos bien cuando pedimos nuestros platos principales demoraron 1 hora para salir llegaron otras dos mesas pidieron comida pagaron y se fueron y nuestra comida aún no salía… Cuando por fin la mesera se paró a recogerla después de escuchar la campanilla más de 20 veces la comida estaba fría y no era lo que yo había ordenado, trajo mi comida y solo la dejo en la mesa ni siquiera me dio tiempo de decirle que no era lo que había ordenado se fue a hablar con las otras meseras yo traté de llamarla pero no había manera pasaron alrededor de 20 minutos hasta que por fin vino a la mesa y aún no habían salido los platos de las otras 2 personas tardaron otros 15 min en arreglar mi comida y traer la de las otras personas! Cuando iba a pagar le pregunté si había la posibilidad de hablar con un manager a lo que dijo que no que su manager no estaba le pregunté por un número para llamar y me dijo que no tenía número tampoco tratando de ocultar el mal servicio que nos habían dado! Nos fuimos del restaurante a las 6:47 más de 2 horas para una mesa de 3!! Y aparte de todo me cobraron la propina ya incluida por eso es que no dan buen servicio porque ya tienen una propina segura y no les importa! La peor experiencia que eh tenido en un restaurante de verdad no lo recomiendo para nada vayan a LA CHIVA si quieren un buen servicio porque aquí es un chiste como te tratan

Hice un pedido, a las tres personas que estaban ahí nunca tomaron mi pedido casi una hora espera do y ni hubo lo había pasado, pésimo servicio

Very nice place with Great food and great customer service

My first time ordering here. Valentina was very nice and she had our food ready for pick up when we got there. We just paid for it and came home. The food was delicious. Como dicen en Colombia..deliciosa.

Met our family here (6 adults, 3 small children) for lunch 1/14/24. My husband & I were the first to arrive telling the waitress there would be 9 of us and she held up 2 fingers and picked up two menus. I shook my head no and said 9 but she still didn't understand so had to hold up 9 fingers. This is concerning. The other glaring thing was it was literally freezing. I was so cold, I was shivering and couldn't remove my coat. The table was like ice as was the floor. It was only 5 degrees outside, an unusual cold snap but if you open at 11AM and didn't come in early enough to turn your head on or you don't have heat, then you shouldn't have opened. It never warmed up the entire 2 hours we were there and we asked for the heat to be turned up....but that thing about not understanding us, still an issue. My daughter in law does speak Spanish fairly well and was helpful since the waitress couldn't understand any English but this also meant, she never would speak to anyone else at the table except her. However, she only came to the table to take our orders, deliver the food and one other time only to speak to my DIL. Never to refill waters, or see if anything else was needed. Then there was the food. I wanted to love it, but the empanadas while different than what I've had in the past, would have been okay if the outside hadn't been so greasy they could fall out of your hand. The chicken inside was good. Cheese stick appetizers were good. I had the tamal, it was not good. The meat had a lot of gristle and fat in it and the entire dish was so dry with no flavor. My husband had the Pechuga A La Plancha Gratinada which was essentially a flattened piece of chicken, fries and salad. He loved the salad and fries but the chicken even for my husband who loves his meat cooked well, said it was not good and too dry. The steak from another meal was super dry. Overall, the quality of food was just not good. Dry, flavorless and they clearly hadn't changed the oil as you could taste that it was stale. The price for our meal with their auto added gratuity was over $270 for 7 menu items plus 2 appetizers and 1 drink only as everyone else had water. Spending nearly $300 on a meal that wasn't good, service was terrible and were all so cold we couldn't take our coats off which didn't help our feet and legs just isn't acceptable.
