Honestly, I think it’s a little over-hyped. The atmosphere is cool, and the service is pretty good. But the food…meh. I expected more flavor. It was all pretty bland. The birria taco was the best of the 3 that I got. (I got the 3 taco plate w/rice & beans). The taco al pastor was light in meat; again, bland. The Baja fish taco was unexpectedly flavorless for being advertised with habanero aioli. The birria taco was pretty good, but the “consommé” was a ramekin of broth with a respectable layer of fat. The rice, and the beans, were pointless to add. I’d skip them in the future. The rice was flavorless, and the beans tasted like they came straight from the can. It’s too bad, I was really looking forward to something outstanding, but I was really underwhelmed.
Ambiance: 10/10 Margarita flight: 8/10– not a fan of super fruity drinks with lack of alcohol Food: 10/10– everything was amazing. We had birria, carne asada, baja and adobo chicken tacos. The jalapeño salsa was great … depends on your spice level. Music was ehhh.. not as diverse
Ridiculously unprofessional staff. There is a sign that says “wait to be seated” and they left me waiting for over 10 min and finally had to leave. If y’all don’t like your jobs you can find another one. How else would you explain staff walking by me not saying anything? I guess I must be invisible.
Best tacos ever! I tried the Carne Asada, Santa Fe, and Baja Fish. 3 different flavors and they were all excellent! The house sales was delicious. The habanero salsa was just ok. The place was hopping early on a Friday night but by 8p, there was plenty of seating.
Great tacos and good margaritas!
Colin was our server today for lunch. He was beyond amazing with his conversation, presence and how quick our drinks and food were brought out. He truly improved an already wonderful brunch experience.
Great food and nice place to hang out!
