Lorna's Caribbean & American Grill

This was much needed outing! The food and service at Lornas was amazing. This stewed conch and snapper was delicious! Not to mention that strawberry hennessy though!

Great ambience nice staff. Asa was great very hard to find a upper scale Jamaican restaurant. If you're by the Stadium definitely worth a try!

I will start by saying I was so excited to eat that I forgot to take pictures, next time! Appetizer: Bahamian Cracked Conch and Caesar salad Entree: jerk chicken with rice & peas and plantain; brown stew chicken with rice & peas and collard greens with cornbread Drink: regular freshly made lemonade and mango lemonade Everything was good! I was really impressed with the rice & peas. You could really taste the coconut milk and it was so moist. Only the cornbread, I wasn't super impressed by - was a little on the dry side.

We went here before we went to the stadium to see the Miami Dolphins. The conch was hot amd tasted fresh. However my sides (rice and mac/cheese) were cold. Instead of giving me new sides, the waitress took my entire plate with the conch. I thought she would give me a side plate so I can remove the conch. I guess they warmed it up im the microwave and the conch ended up being a little tough. The atmosphere were great, however I had an issue with the charges. Make sure you have them print out your receipt prior to paying. They had an additional 13.00 on top of the 13.00 for gratuity for 5 or more. 5 or more was 13.05 Game day was 13.05... What is game day charge?? This restaurant is not owned by NFL. The charges were removed, however if I didn't ask for a receipt, none of my party would have known.

Went for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday as a party of 14. To start, you are charged $5 on EVERY check per person when there is "entertainment." Then, there is an 18% gratuity on EVERY check no matter the party size. Ok disclaimer taken. When we went to pay for our bill, we were charged 18% disclaimer gratuity and an 18% 5 or more party gratuity!! Uuh....where on earth do they do that!! When we realized that the bottom line was more than it should have been, the waiter went to speak to an individual who says "just take it off." From that response, I gathered, since it was noticed, just take it off. The waiter proceeds to apologize that is was not his intent to "get over." Yeah, I didnt say it, you did! Customers, be sure to check your bills for over charges at this place! Ripping people off.

A little under staffed but they where trying there hardest. I know how it can be in the restaurant / retail with staffing issues so won't hold it against them so I will give it another try. The food was really good I enjoyed it and the drinks was awesome.

I've been here three times so far, and I have thoroughly enjoyed each meal. The service was good each time, and the vibe was amazing. You can tell a lot about an owner based on the cleanliness of an establishment. Based on what I've observed here, the owner is quite meticulous as this space is very clean.
