Probably the best restaurant in Staten Island right now. Food was excellent, service was perfect, the restaurant is amazing and you have a great piano player setting the tone. Quinoa meatballs? Sounds crazy but amazing! We'll be back many times for sure! Thank you for a great evening!
We went here with another family. It was a Wednesday night. It was very quiet there but wait staff was very attentive and food was delicious. We had a variety of apps, all were very good. Everyone at the table enjoyed their dinner, no complaints. We all left there talking about how good the food was.
We went to Lorenzo to celebrate our anniversary. Although the ambiance is pretty, spacious and elegant, unfortunately the food quality isn't. The French onion soup was so thick that it tasted as if we were drinking gravy instead of soup. The clam appetizer tasted very wine-heavy, as if the alcohol wasn't cooked thoroughly through, resulting in a bitter and unsavory taste. The pappardelle was incredibly bland and the sauce was mild in flavor. The pasta was a bit overly al dente, which detracted from the already negative experience. The ribeye had a nice crust, but the seasoning was once again lacking. The accompanied mushroom and onions had a sour taste to it, which made the entire dish less enjoyable. Overall we were unfortunately disappointed in our dining experience. Although the ambiance is nice and service is friendly, especially with Jakup who was funny, accommodating, and easy to talk to, there is so much room for improvement in regards to the quality of the food. Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:
Nice place and the bartender was very accommodating. I did enjoy the brisket sliders and the calamari.
