As a lunch destination suggested by my wife, I initially had reservations about dining at LongHorn Steakhouse in Mobile, Alabama. My concern was primarily due to an assumption that their menu would be heavily populated with steak options that may prove to be too filling for a midday meal. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a variety of offerings that weren’t quite as heavy. Despite my initial intent to choose a lighter fare, I found myself irresistibly drawn towards their hamburger. The burger was cooked to absolute perfection, with a delightful hint of charcoal grill that added an extra layer of depth to the flavor profile. The seasoning was meticulously done, and the overall composition of the burger met my specifications to the letter. I paired this with an order of asparagus, a refreshing alternative to the traditional fries, which kept the meal balanced and prevented it from becoming overwhelmingly heavy. My wife, on the other hand, opted for the Ribeye steak, a decision she absolutely did not regret. According to her, the steak was cooked to perfection, resulting in an extremely tender, juicy, and flavorful experience. She accompanied her steak with asparagus and a baked potato, both of which she thoroughly enjoyed. Our meal commenced with a round of wonderful bread, served by an equally wonderful hostess. Her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring a seamless dining experience significantly contributed to our overall satisfaction. In conclusion, our visit to LongHorn Steakhouse was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying meal with excellent service. We left with our stomachs full, our taste buds satisfied, and our expectations exceeded.
I don’t know how someone would even serve some of the horrible food I have received. I visited Longhorns on Airport 02/09/2024. If you can’t tell from the picture the burned dish is suppose to be roasted brussels sprouts. Take a look at the sweet potato. It was drowned in sugar and cinnamon (mostly sugar). I had to scrape looks like a cup full off the top. They should be ashamed!
Food was excellent. At dusk, it got so dark that you could barely see. Our server was very nice and made sure we had everything, but I’ve never felt so rushed before. First thing she said was “we’ve got parties tonight so I need to get your order in.” From there on out it was rushed. Within 2 minutes of our food coming out, the check was on the table. Didn’t even get to order dessert. As parents of 3 children, we don’t really get many dare nights. This was our chance to celebrate Valentine’s Day early, without the kids. Instead, it felt like we were an inconvenience.
