The food was excellent! Portion sizes were enormous! One meal would easily feed two people. Service was a rough start, but our waitress made up for it.
Had higher expectations for the "steakhouse's" signature dish, "Flo's filet". While it was well cooked, meat wasn't as tender as I hoped nor was it salted, sure there are some with dietary restrictions but perhaps a 9oz $30+ filet shouldn't be your-go-to if you can't handle salt. As far as the service, it was quite transactional. Meaning it was polite and just friendly enough but delivered in a somewhat indifferent manner. And for the atmosphere, yuck. Much like many other reviews have stated, there was a mix of smells that certainly leads you to believe there isn't much of a cleaning crew. Table had that wet rage smell and my menu had food in between the pages. So nope, I'm not going back for steak at this "steakhouse".
I ordered the full rack of ribs. They were a little dry.
I've visited this place a few times now. A definite place to dine in. Steaks are pretty good and not as pricey as a lot of other places in the area. The Parmesan chicken is awesome. The sides' menu has a little bit of something for everyone. Great place for a family lunch or dinner though it does get a little crowded. Each occasion we've had great service from the servers and bartenders. The staff is A+
I ordered my food online. 15 minutes after the pickup time, I’m still waiting on bread while the rest of my food gets cold, they gave bread to everyone else that ordered food after me, but make me wait for bread. Then the girl has a nasty attitude and is arguing with me that they didn’t give bread to people that ordered after me. I saw someone walk in and get bread while I was waiting for my food.
This is the LongHorn you want to visit for a great meal and awesome service. We were there at 6:30 on a Saturday night. It was very busy, and we couldn't make reservations... thought twice about it but this is where our mother wanted to go... so we were going to just grin and bear the long wait. The 5 of us were pleasantly surprised by the shorter than average wait for such a packed restaurant. We were at a big round table near the front of the restaurant and saw all the action going on as more and more people came in. The manager was on point, she did a fantastic job coordinating everything. Now our server was Sandra and let me tell you something, she was always pleasant, always had a quick joke and you never saw the pressure.. but she sure was super busy running around taking care of all her tables. The cocktails were tasty, especially the mango margarita, so delish! And I don't know who is in that kitchen but my goodness do they know how to make a steak. Between the 5 of us we had filets, New York strips and ribeyes and every single one of the steaks was delicious. This is the place for a great meal in Hollywood!
Longhorn, LongDissapointment, I ordered a To-go order and one whole plate was missing. Salads did not have the dressing and was missing a couple of sides. When I called the restaurant, I was left in hold for more than 10 minutes more than once. Will not be back.
