LongHorn Steakhouse

This was a very disappointing visit. I ordered the filet and lobster tail combo with crispy Brussel sprouts, loaded baked potato and salad. It's valentines day so we ordered for early pickup in anticipation of the crowds. We picked up around 430 pm so they were not yet busy. The lobster tail was cold and chewy and was literally 2 bites, steak was not medium well but rather red and also extremely chewy and tough and the Brussel sprouts were wayyyyyy over cooked. I didn't even get my baked potato. I've eaten here before and it was good but this trend where we pay $40 per person for this type of meal and only the bread was good is unacceptable so I may not eat there again any time soon. This was my valentines dinner so I was very disappointed and my man was upset since he bought it.

Best ribeye in town

We had the pleasure of having not one but two Waitresses. We had a date night at Longhorn and Olivia was our first waitress and she was exquisite. We asked for some extra time to relax and enjoy our cocktails before ordering our food. We let Olivia know this, and she was attentive yet, provided us with time to enjoy our cocktails before we ordered our food. Olivia had to go on break so, we cashed out our ticket so we were able to tip her appropriately. We were reassigned to Chelsea and she was as excellent as Olivia. Again, Chelsea allowed us time to chat and enjoy our cocktails before ordering our food. Our salads arrived immediately after ordering and the Ranch and Bleu Cheese dressings were outstanding, as a matter of fact, the best homemade salad dressings we have had in Evansville. Unfortunately, my salad had a black, curly hair in it and ruined my appetite. The waitress was so embarrassed and told us the manager on duty would come around to our table and she did only a few moments later. Unfortunately, she did not introduce herself so, I am unable to provide a “shout out “ to her. We did not expect a refund or any compensation for our meals however, the Manager subtracted the price of my steak off our bill….After finishing our salads, our steaks arrived. Although our steaks were overcooked, they were good.Longhorn is my wife’s favorite Steak House in Evansville and although, there are several steak houses, we always choose Longhorn. As a Healthcare Provider, I understand the need for hairnets or a hair covering to reduce the transmission of hair or foreign material in one’s food, I have no idea what Longhorn’s policy is regarding this protocol. Thank you Longhorn for a wonderful “Date Night”…. We will be back!! A big shout out to Olivia and Chelsea… we will ask to be seated in your area upon return. Sincerely, Karen and Claire

Found another great Longhorn location. This place was great. The service was excellent. The food came out quickly and to order. That onion appetizer they have here is the best around. This restaurant is very clean. The whole grain bread comes out with regular butter which is perfect. There is plenty of parking here as it is close to Eastland Mall just off of Green River Road. Really easy to find using Google Maps

We had dinner for my wife's son's birthday, there were 6 of us the whole dinner was under $200 everyone was happy with what they ordered, to tell the truth I didn't itemized what they ate but we were happy
