London Fish & Chips

The food is good, the price is fair, and the parking is free. The owner/cook is a bit short on manners. The decor is that of a place thrown together just enough to pass the health inspectors checklist. As long as you’re not looking for decor or a friendly conversation, just good fish & chips, you’re good. Parking: There are a few spots, so you may have to wait.

Little place tucked into a strip center just off I-94 on Harper. One man running the place on a Monday at noon. Had the local news on the TV in the corner. (I'm a news junkie so that's fine with me) Volume was a bit high but with the ambient sounds in the kitchen & his hearing issue, I'm not surprised. Got the 2 piece special which comes with fries (duh), coleslaw & a pair of hushpuppies. Fish was well cooked, hot but a little bland. Fries were unsalted (salt packets provided). Hushpuppies were very tasty, could've eaten a half dozen. Do wish the utensil wasn't a weak plastic fork. Made eating a bit of a chore. And the floor was sticky in some places. Vegetarian options: It's a fish & chips place, what vegetarian options? Parking: There are 10 spaces out front Wheelchair accessibility: Good amount of room for those using wheelchairs

Solid food at an amazing price! 3 pieces of fish, fries and puppies for 12 dollars is a steal in my mind. Fish was fresh and the fries were great. The disappointment was the batter...not enough and as flavorful as other places but it wasn't bad by any means. I'd go again.

Go to Captain D's if you want clean floors. Go to London Fish and Chips if you want authentic & delicious at a fantastic price!

the fish was good, just not seasoned. hot&seemed fresh. but the floor is so sticky I almost couldn't pick my feet up and leave

I have been going here at least 10 years and this establishment serves consistently tasty fish, however, the entire place is filthy dirty with grease. Coming back from the restroom (filthy) a quick glance into the kitchen and there was the dirtiest looking fryer I have ever seen. I can't see it passing a health dept, fire dept or insurance inspection. My advice is if your going to eat fish from here order a carry out. CLEAN UP YOUR FILTHY RESTAURANT!

The owner of this establishment has been serving up fish and chips and other foods for over 20 years, and the food is very good. He is a nice person and is friendly. London Fish and Chips is our favorite fish place.
