Absolutely fantastic! Everything about this place is spectacular. The service is friendly, quick and charming. The food cannot be matched, everything is delicious. There is nothing on this menu that you’ll be disappointed in. We had the arai kodai and could not be happier. I had the three kings cocktail to start and Mr. Baan’s medicine cocktail to finish, both are light, flavorful and pack the perfect punch. Do yourself a favor and eat here as soon as you can.

Possibly the best Thai restaurant in Phoenix. Don't expect to see the usual Thai menu items.

Every time we go we let them decide what we eat. Love that they have this option!! The food is always amazing. Always. And the service is fantastic. 10/10 recommend

The restaurant is cute, I expected more of a cultural feel. I didn't love how loud it was and we sat next to the bathroom, which was less of an issue than being shoved into a large protruding art peice. It's lovely, but my art shouldn't supercede comfort and function. As far as service the wait was kind, but not as helpful on menu items, the 1st 3 dishes we asked for they were out of one ingredient and had no substitutions out outside of the box thinking... we were still hours from closing time. In addition, the descriptions of the food were hard to understand and you couldnt tell what was a starter vs a main dish. The waiter seemed to pressed for time, despite how empty it was. It took FOREVER to get our drinks. The food had a nice taste.. but for the price was not remotely enough, nor delicious enough. We were told the chicken would be a "decent amount of food"... it was 6 chicken wings. We left starved. Its possible it was an off night... but I wouldn't go back again based on principal. Spending 90 bucks on 2 people, when one of the dishes was 6 chicken wings... is not my idea of great time.

I guess this place wasn't our style. The beef was full of gristle. If they were trying to capture the slow-cooked, soft, delicious fat consistency, they failed. Every piece had a big chunk of hard gristle. As others have mentioned, they try to replicate eating in the village, so all food comes out at once to share, discuss, revel, laugh, and cry. You can only order one time! No more! Who knows, this may be a ploy to get you to order too many dishes, because they suggested 7 to 8 for a party of 4, and we would have been great at 5. And completely against village conviviality, they kick you out after 90 min. We paid $15 per person to reserve, and couldn't even sit at the table and get a drink (at our reservation time) while waiting for the others to arrive. Isn't that was the $15 per person charge is? Insurance that people will show up? Fine by me, I'll spend my cocktail money next door. Sauces were delicious, though. Sea bass was great.

Wonderful, fantastic experience! For a special evening, don't hesitate to dine here and to ask for the "Give us the best that you've got" meals.

Date night, ordered Arai Kodai, paired with their wine special, flavors were outstanding. We were served the fried bamboo, peanut sauce was spot on, and the perfect amount of spice. Green Mango followed, just the right amount of creamy, crunch, and spice. This was probably our favorite, however the curry sea bass was a close second. Sea bass was cooked perfectly, the fourth was Tom ka Gai. Flavor was ok, would of preferred the Tom ka before the richness of the Sea Bass as the flavors would have developed differently. We are already planning our next visit.

This Thai restaurant was delicious! Please make sure to get a reservation as their seats fill out fast, even on a Thursday night. The only reason I gave one star less was because I found a piece of hair by my creme brulee. We didn’t say anything about it but it did affect our dining experience towards the end. The food is worth a try and everything came out amazing, the wait wasn’t long either for the food! Should definitely share everything family style. Pricing was fair considering it’s downtown Phoenix. 5-6 plates is a good recommendation for a table of 4.
