Lo-Lo's Chicken & Waffles

The food was amazing, so fresh! I had chicken, greens and red beans and rice and it was seasoned well and very delicious. I ate at the bar and the bartender was awesome. He took good care of me. I will be back. Vegetarian options: The greens were delicious and were made with no meat.

We had 9 customers and the food was alright. The problem came up when it was time to pay. We were not told that the bill would be combined. Destroyed any good feelings about the experience. No problem with the 20% gratuity but the confusion that ensued as each couple figured out what was owed was entirely unnecessary. Figure out a better way!!!

Food is very good. I had the fried chicken with sweet potatoes and greens. My husband had the fried catfish with greens and Mac & cheese. Both are served with cornbread. Our son had the catfish sandwich with fries. This was our 2nd visit and I am taking off points because the portion sizes are inconsistent with the meats. During our first visit, the catfish portions were large. During the second visit, the catfish portions as well as the chicken portions were half the size. Paying $30 each for a meal is fine If portions and taste are worthy. When they skimp on the portions - that’s not cool. Whether you make a reservation, or you get there early on a first come first serve basis, be prepared to wait at least 30 to 45 minutes before your meal arrives to your table. I’m only giving 3 stars for atmosphere because the ladies room needs a complete overhaul.

I enjoyed my chicken and waffles here. The checked was perfectly crispy with a nice soft waffle. Definitely would go back here to get the best fried chicken

The Food was absolutely Delicious and the Service was Excellent, not to mention the portions were humongous and you won't need any refills on the extra large standard size drinks

Everything was great, my family of 8 were all seated right away. The drinks were flavorful and strong. The food was fresh, steaming hot and came out quick. The chicken was well seasoned, crispy and juicy. The waffles were great as well and had its own unique taste. The group had a variety of everything and enjoyed it. Everyone was very friendly, and the manager even stopped by the table to introduce her self and see how everything was. I definitely recommend this restaurant 10/10 and will be stopping by whenever I am in town.
