You cant go wrong here!!!

If you're not from Louisiana, you'll definitely enjoy it. Great patio and food is good with a lot of flavor. If you are from Louisiana looking for a place to regular in Chs, temper expectations as not everything on the menu is authentic Louisiana food, you will have to drive to Columbia to get the real deal at Bourbon for specific dishes. The canonical example to watch out for is of course the Jambalaya, you will definitely be disappointed if you are looking for the real thing. For informational purposes, literally no one living anywhere in southeast LA / Cajun country ever actually eats tomato based jambalaya, you won't find it at any of the institutions like Chimes, Sammy's, the de-facto standard Jambalaya Shoppe, etc, just to name a few both inside and outside New Orleans. Red Jambalaya is basically just for a portion of French quarter tourists, it is not actually Louisiana jambalaya and locals only make Brown Jambalaya. Assertions you may find online to the contrary are simply not reality and not correct. Many restaurants outside of the state visit New Orleans and go on to make this same mistake, it's the one thing you definitely have to get right to win credibility and regular business with LA folks. Would suggest offering both in the future, as there are many LA natives living in Charleston and all of them I know have voiced the same frustration as a reason they don't go more often, and I'm not the only one who sometimes makes the 100 mile drive.

Love their shrimp and Grits and Gator bites.

Great food,I reccomend the etoufe with the dirty rice. Very NOLA/Bayou food.

First time here. Food was good, would recommend the shrimp Mac’n cheese.the main reason why I am rating 3 stars is because of the service. I have never been asked to move/leave a table because of needing a table for reservations. When we were seated, it wasn’t packed. I think the manager could’ve gone about this in a more professional manner, such as apologizing for the inconvenience and possibly comping our drinks or offering something for the rush. It just ruined the experience, especially for it being first time. Overall, everything else was good.

Lola hit the spot with me coming from out of town. Waitress recommended the gator bites, which were out of this world. For dinner I had gumbo which was also chefs kiss. Old fashioned drink 6/10. Very solid! Would definitely recommend, make sure you have a reservation place is kind of small.

My favorite restaurant in Park Circle. Everything is always fresh. I would go just to eat their side salad when I was pregnant because it was one of the few places that had fresh enough salad for my pregnant taste buds... everywhere else, the lettuce tasted rotten. They have seafood that is seasoned! I can't stand how bland many restaurants make their seafood batter here, but LoLa's actually spice it up. They're praline corn bread is too good. The duck fries are a must, with pulled braised duck, pieces of fried pickles, green tomatoes, and jalapeños. I should be telling you it's awful, so you stay away from my favorite place. It already gets packed out!
