Logan's Roadhouse

This was our special night our 42nd anniversary. We don't go out a lot. We had a Over $200.00 in gift cards for Logan's. Had been a favorite for years. So this is where we decided to celebrate. Please let me say that everyone was very kind. The service was good. Salad wonderful and as usual the rolls were top notch. My husband soup was good. My mashed potatoes were delicious but my chopped steak was inedible, so much salt. For a change I complained, and I hate that word. But it was awful. My favorite meal was the chicken salad with their wonderful Parmesan peppercorn dressing. But the last two times I ordered it. It was also too salty. Didn't say any, just ate the salad and left the chicken. So I thought I would play it safe and order something different. As I said it was terrible. I'm not salt sensitive and had my husband who likes salt a little too much and he couldn't eat it. They offered me something else I ordered chicken strips, this was probably my fault I didn't think to specify fried and the server didn't ask. They brought out grilled. They replaced it quickly with fried . Cold and dry. By now I'm truly near tears. Our night was ruined. The restaurant was very nice , we did not ask them to. But they comped my meal. Very kind but .... We went home. Will give them another try. As I said it had been our favor. But please , please not so much salt. My husband said maybe they accidentally spilled it. So bad couldn't tell if it was the sauce or meat or both. Lovely people and very nice place. Just couldn't eat.

Need to o work on customer service

I went here for a birthday dinner with a church family and had the worst customer service. If you don’t have the staff to handle a large group of people, then say that so people can make a decision and move on. Management training is definitely needed..get management who can communicate with customers and make a informed decision…. not have customer waiting unreasonably amount of time. It’s bad when the staff has more respect and better customer than the manager in charge

Just had one of the worst experience I’ve ever had at Logan’s. Been going there for years, well today they had 3 large parties and couldn’t handle. Mike the manger who seem to be making the decisions, Should have told customers that we short staff and I believe short of space…If you don’t have staff to handle large parties as a manager you should make a decision that doesn’t keep customers waiting 2 to 3 hours. .We got conflicting information from the 4 hostess standing at the front. The manager said we called him a lier and asked us to leave. So my party of 20 left and won’t be back. This isn’t close the old Logan’s the customer service isn’t there.

This is the worst service my family and I have received from a restaurant in along time. We waited 2 hours to be ask by the manager Mike to leave the restaurant because we were told by now that we have learned by a new hostess that it was going to be an hour wait. And it was confirmed by another party they were told the same thing. If you know you are under staff then let your customers know so we could have made a decision to either wait or go somewhere else to eat. When my family and I were having a conversation about it Mike butted in and began arguing with my sister until my other sister had to tell him to get back out of her face. Very unprofessional. Then the host at the front was chatting Mike told them to leave anyway what are they waiting on get up and go.

Food was great, was in town for a baseball game.

Waited over 30 minutes for a server. Wife had to go to the kitchen and ask for honey mustard and ranch. My club came with 3 sections, not 4. Manager decides that our server was better suited for the bar area and we were left with no server.
