Update: In response to the owner's reply regarding my recent experience, I want to clarify that I explicitly declined a refund period. The reimbursement for the peach cobbler falls short for compensating for the overall disappointing experience, especially considering the nearly $70 expenditure. My decision to share my feedback publicly is not about class; it's about providing an honest assessment for others. What lacks class is the owner's response to criticism, rather than embracing it constructively to improve the business. I find it appalling. The take out experience was unsatisfactory. The beef brisket had too much fat attached to the slices. The sides were bland, unseasoned and the peach cobbler was terrible, prepared without the proper ingredients. The manager on duty definitely offered great service. The individual sides were sufficient for one person. Parking: Parking in this particular area of downtown Plano is rather compact. However, there is authorized parking on the opposite side of the building.

Great, authentic Texas barbecue. The brisket is a must! Also, it's in a great, historic area of Plano. Charming and walkable.

Me and a relative who was visiting wanted to try Texas bbq. Brisket was really good. Very friendly staff and bartender. The place was bigger than I thought and had a full bar which was a pleasant surprise. Would go again.
