Really superb brisket . And nice cocktails with a very helping bartender who made the long island up to mark . Though it wasn’t in the menu but she specially made it . Wheelchair accessibility: Accesible
I drove from Irving to this place last night arrived about 8:10 PM and was told by a guy that was clearing the tables that they were closed, the website clearly says open until 9 PM but he said on Sundays we close at 8. I’m confused at this point Google is usually correct but whatever never again…
Nice little spot for good Texas barbecue. Brisket burnt ends are made with a sweet glaze similar to how bacon burnt ends usually are and the result is amazing. The spicy Mac and cheese is also great with a nice kick.
The brisket was amazing. However the ribs were extremely underwhelming.
We finally got to check Texas BBQ off our list! We made a quick trip from Idaho to check out UTD & on our last say, find some BBQ - Lockhart Smokehouse did not disappoint! The place was relatively quiet compared to the busy streets & sidewalks when we stopped in (which was really nice) & the guys at the counter were so helpful! I'm sure we looked confused. I ordered the 1/2 chicken & potato salad. Oh my gosh it was good! The chicken was moist & SO flavorful (a good salty & smokey mix), and the potato salad was nothing like I've had before (in the best ways). The boys had brisket (which they loved so much, they went back for more) & sausage (which they said is the best they've ever had). I'm sure we'll be back to Dallas & I'm sure Lockhart will see us again when we return. Thanks for topping off our trip!!!
