This is NOT a safe space for Black People specifically Black Woman. The bar staff (except the one Black bartender) and the security staff AND managers have an unfounded affliction to treat Black People and Black Women unfairly. I have witnessed their ignorance towards other BW and have experienced it myself to the point where the only Black Male bartender on staff makes it a point to service me as he has seen the way the other bartenders have actively ignored my presence on multiple occasions. One bartender of Latino decent in particular ALWAYS gives me a difficult time when ordering and paying for drinks. On one occasion he ignored my presence while he found anything to clean other than servicing me during a packed night. When I expressed my discontent with this he asked the security to kick me out and they declined to do so. On the second occasion he was hounding me about payment when I was clearly in my phone making a transfer in order to pay he repeatedly insinuated that I did not have money to pay and asked security to kick me out again. This time they erroneously obliged his request making a scene clearing a huge path for a 5 ft petite woman who was simply standing in the same place at the bar, chatting, and transferring funds. I am under the full impression that it is his intention to attempt to humiliate Black Women due to some racist agenda and the establishment itself, that profits off of Black Culture, aids him in doing so. These people will take your money and treat you like a subordinate class. I STRONGLY advise against the Black Community supporting this establishment. As someone who enters spaces with respect, positive intentions, and the finances to enjoy myself accordingly this continued inappropriate racist treatment is unacceptable and so unfounded that the only explanation is a distaste due to skin color and stereotypes about socializing, paying, and tipping. BLACK WOMEN THIS IS NOT A SAFE SPACE FOR YOU! DO NOT COME HERE! DO NOT SPEND BLACK DOLLARS HERE! From the amount of complaints in the reviews below some class action suit will likely be filed for equal protection violations VERY SOON! Very sad especially in this social climate.

It looks great and is super fun to find the doorhandle. The food was amazing. I wish I could go back, but do you live in Australia?

Beware: bouncers on a power trip. Mid drinks and mid interior on top of staff with bad attitudes

DO NOT COME HERE. Seriously, the Line does not move unless you’re with girls. They just let girls in. You’ll have to wait 2 hours to get in and the bouncers are so rude

Security guard is rude. He said that we could not come in because we didn’t have straps on our shoes, but then let the people behind us in even though they didn’t have straps as well. A very negative experience for us, specially since we are out of town.
