LLoyd's Restaurant & Lounge

We enjoyed our night out at Lloyd. It’s a very, very neighborhood field. The pizza was exceptional. There was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. They have a great selection of craft beers. I appreciate that they support local breweries, and they can accommodate large parties with a beautiful long table in the center of the dining area. I recommend checking this out for date night if you want something laid-back with a good pizza selection. The service was attentive and pleasant, which is a must.

A $40 pizza?! That’s a 7/10?!

We stopped in for a quick coffee break. It’s a very different feel than your typical coffee shop, but likely because this is more than just a coffee shop. Coffee was good. There weren’t any available seats inside so we sat outside. I’ll have to gone back and try their food on another occasion. We just happened upon this place as we wanted a place to sit to eat our Hell Yea Gluten free bakery sweet (a few doors down)- that bakery doesn’t have any seating, thus how we ended up here! Parking: There is a free parking lot but it’s small given all the offices and other establishments in that strip mall, so at certain times of days it quite hard to find an open spot. If it’s full, just go to delta and park along that street.

Me and my family was trying to find a cool and different place to go for early dinner and have happy hour. Based on our location Lloyd’s was the place chosen. The host greeted us with friendly warm demeanor. We were assigned to server named Britney She wasn’t very personable but we decided ok stay and try their pizza and crab leg special. The pizza crust was to die for. Lightly crispy bottom and soft chewy top. There wasn’t very much toppings on the pizza but we continued to eat to try to get full. No such luck. The crab legs were a generous portion but didn’t arrive at table hot. When we mentioned to Britney they were cold she replied “well you’ve had them for sometime so they will cool off”. Really… that’s your response to a customer. Not I’ll microwave them to try to heat them for you. She seemed pretty aloof from the beginning so what should I expect. She just seemed to have a basic tolerance for us not really wanting us to enjoy our visit and return in the future. She just tolerated us because she had to. Needless to say I won’t be returning. Be careful they put 23% gratuity on our check which we had manager remove. Not a pleasant experience. And I’m still hungry.

The food here is fire. Also love the ambiance. A great time for sure!

Pizza was amazing! Thin and home made. I ordered a mocktail which was a fresh squeezed orange juice with lime and club soda and it was amazing!!! The spinach artichoke dip was a hit as well. Highly recommend for great quick bites and drinks!
