The food was excellent. We ordered Dynamite tofu, Liz Lo Mein, Cashew chicken, Orange Chicken and Wonton Noodle soup. The place is no frills but food is fresh, clean and made to order. Owner was friendly and very accommodating. Vegetarian options: Dynamite tofu and vegetables

Good is great, Liz (the owner chef) out does herself every time! She is pleasant, friendly, and her and her husband provide great customer service to their customers.

This is a hidden jewel in Scottsdale quarter. It does not look like much but the food is phenomenal and inexpensive

This was the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’m just flabbergasted. The food was disgusting. The menu and ordering process was vague and confusing. Check out the reviews for this place and draw your own conclusions about who wrote them. We were not the only customers that seemed to feel this way…

Liz Modern Asian is the perfect spot to enjoy lunch/dinner in North Scottsdale! The outdoor seating is perfect and the food is delicious. Would highly recommend the steamed buns (BBQ brisket for sure), they are unreal! Staff is also extremely kind and helpful! We will be back :)

Uhhhh.. this place is TERRIBLE. The website is very very misleading!! We had never been and ordered $70 worth of takeout. Aside from our order taking 20 min longer than stated, the place was dirty, everything we ordered was severely overcooked/burnt, low quality ingredients, absolutely no flavor, and zero love put into their dishes. I can’t believe there are people (actually I can) that give this place 5 stars. Sorry but NO WAY. I wish I had taken photos of it all to post but I just threw it all away after two bites. $70 down the drain.. yay!

This place was awesome. The homemade hot sauce was the perfect balance of flavor and heat. The fried rice was amazing, we loved the pineapple soda. The pork char siu steamed buns we're so good my wife bit her cheek trying to eat it . I will definitely be recommending this to my friends and co-workers. Can't wait to come back.
