Sandwich tasted good, but 80% carrots, hardly any meat. Pricey for what you get, used to be much less.
Looks like they recently merged with the restaurant next door. Probably a good idea. But the bahn mi's went up $3 or so since the last time I was in there. At $9.50 it's still a better value than most other places but not the amazing value it used to be. It's also not super flavorful, but still a very satisfying crispy fresh sandwich.
Ordered from this place twice and each time the rice was extremely over cooked to the point of being crunchy. The rest of the food was cold and undercooked. Can’t recommend this place until they improve their food.
This little cafe and their delicious Vietnamese coffee was there for me on, probably, one of the lowest days of my life, and I continue to stop by whenever I'm in the area because their food and beverages are just too good. A true hidden treasure out there on Clement Street!
Something dialed this place up recently. Maybe it's the Kojo influence, but it's more than that. The people that work there are on game, recommending the garlic noodles and chicken for the picky 4yr old (we all loved it) and the Bun Mi pork and special sauce, so so delish. Top of the top.
