Little Sister DTLA

We came to dine in on Sunday night at around 8pm. Right off the bat, the server was not welcoming, she clearly had attitude and we could feel that right away with her little comments to our male greeter. We actually would have preferred him to serve us, but we were unlucky and got seated in her area. Food was okay, we really like the fresh rolls but the pho was a bit salty. Ambience was nice. Energy could have been better. As we were walking out, another couple was walking out ahead of us and was upset because no one came in to greet or take their order even though they had already been seated. It was busy but not ignore-and-bad-service busy. Had high hopes for this place but would not return. You should try another place out if youre looking for a nice time.

Great atmosphere in this place, very intimate little place, and the service is great. My girlfriend and I have noticed this place for a year now and never got the chance to stop, so we decided to make reservations for Valentine's Day. The server right away started with making sure we had no dieting restrictions, and she started offering great menu items. we tried the shaky shaky beef, the pho, and the rice spring roll. Everything was delicious, but I would suggest that you order something other than the pho and the spring roll. Not because they are not good but because they have so many different menu items that looked so good as I noticed everyone getting their food. The shaky, shaky beef was delicious. I highly recommend making reservations to little sisters they do get busy, and it's not such a huge place.

No happy hour at the DTLA location! No cocktails, just beer and wine. We got 2 "appetizers" and 2 "mains" - everything was very generously proportioned and more than enough for 3 women with some left over. Food was solid, the short rib bahn mi and bahn xeo were my favorites but I wish they gave more lettuce and greens with the food! Salmon crudo was fine, as was the fresh rolls (though they were huge!) Server was very helpful and kind. Seating a little cramped, no hooks for coats and the seats were too low to properly put a longer jacket over the back. No valet. Park for $8 after 3PM on weekdays at the One Wilshire garage around the corner, or wait til after 6PM for some more street parking.

The food was delicious. I just wish they had more vegetarian options.

Please update your menu with more vegetarian/vegan options. There are plenty vegan meat substitutes available.
