2022 update. I was able to visit again for Sunday brunch. Bring your appetite and try it all. Great staff, great food. Still one of my West LA favorites. This is my new favorite restaurant. Great local food and excellent staff. It is a great space both indoor & outdoor dining.

Disclaimer that this review is ONLY for the dessert and I have not had any of their entrées. I ordered one of their desserts to go, which they said normally they don't do, so initially I appreciated them trying to accommodate me. The hostess told me this was because they are "farm to table," however, I have no idea what that means in terms of why they don't do carry out. I asked if the strawberry cake would be easy to put in a to-go box and the hostess/manager said it would be fine. When I got the "cake," (which was miniscule) it was divided into five separate containers, totally disassembled. I literally was expected to put together the entire dessert myself, the cake layers, cream, merengue and berries lol. Please tell someone before they spend 14 dollars (!) on a dessert that they'll have to build it like a kid's science project. I assembled the dessert at home (it was my father's birthday). Not only did it look insane (I am no pastry chef), every element was inedible. I don't know how you can mess up fresh whip cream, but this tasted like chemicals/cool whip. The crowning glory on the whip cream was a piece of cilantro. Not mint. Cilantro. The strawberries were gross too, like they'd been frozen and thawed. Then this sort of pink merengue tasted like stale, pink wafer cookies. Suffice it to say, there was nothing "farm to table" about this dessert. I don't think my father has ever turned down a sweet in his life, but he was equally repulsed by this. We laughed about it and then threw the whole thing out. Place had an unfriendly, snobbish vibe.

Limited menu, no house Chardonnay at 6:00 on a Friday night. No house Cabernet Sauvignon either. Left after trying the house wines. We were looking forward to it all week. Ended up trying The Water Grill. Sooo glad we left Little Prince.

The food was a lot prettier than it was tasty. The best dish was the octopus which had an amazing sauce. Our least favorite was the tortellini - avoid at all costs. Service was good and so was the wine. I would come back for wine and a happy hour but probably not for a full meal.

Absolutely in love. Parking in a nearby lot was easy and inexpensive. Then the restaurant is very pretty with a chef visible at the back with a fireplace/oven burning behind him (but not the whole noisy kitchen), a wall of wine you can buy to-go, and a gorgeous wood ceiling with skylights. Overall, it has a nice rustic yet fresh feeling like you’re in someone’s Mediterranean home and they’re cooking just for you. The food - wow. It is so rare that I have a meal and enjoy every single item and to the degree I enjoyed this meal. I was here for brunch with two friends. We split a sticky bun, all got coffees and an entree and I also ordered a side of crispy potatoes. My latte was slightly less than their iced americanos as was my entree to their entrees so even though I had added on a side it actually all evened out $ wise. Our check split three ways came out to just $29 each. I thought that was a great price! Everything was plated beautifully and so delicious. Plus 2 of us had leftovers, so good portions too. Afterwards, I bought a can of wine and we left our car in the same lot, just adding more money ($1.25/hr) and we walked to the beach. It was the perfect brunch + beach day. We will 1000% be back!

My salad on the other hand was delish and the fries were good too. We didn't have a reservation and the hostess let us know the only table they had available was a high top. For a pregnant woman, it wasn't the most comfortable place to sit, but I figured if that's what they had, we'd take it. But then I noticed that the other 2 available outdoor tables remained open throughout our meal. Was that punishment for not having a reservation or maybe the other two reservations didn't show up? Idk. Didn't love that. Also they don't bring food out together, so one person gets their food while the other waits for their entree. Rookie move or just bad service? Seeing that they did that with all the food drop offs for other tables, it left me thinking this place has room of improvement. A bit of room. Service was a 5. Food (for the properly prepped portion of our order) was a 7.
