Don't come here for boba drinks, unless you bring your own flavoring to add to the drink. We heard about a special they had of buy 1 get 1 free drinks, so we got the matcha milk tea and hojicha milk tea. Came out to be $5 for 2 large drinks + boba. Great deal, except the drinks tasted sooo watered down and lacked flavor. The boba was soft but also flavorless. We had to take the drinks home and fix them with of our own matcha powder and hojicha powder. This made them much tastier. Even with the half off price, we didn't feel the drinks were worth it. We'd rather pay full price elsewhere. Other than that, the decor is cute and staff were nice. I believe the cafe is more known for their soft serve ice creams, which we haven't tried.
$5.99 for a milk tea, $0.75 for boba topping, $1 extra for a large cup. I asked for no ice and the server told me that would be $1 extra so I said I will take less ice. My cup of boba milk tea was $8.44 with tax, and more than HALF the cup was ice. This is how much ice left AFTER I finished the milk tea. I was appalled. I am from the SF Bay Area, and I'm used to paying $7-8 for a cup of milk tea, but this was ridiculous. Never going back here for a milk tea unless I feel like throwing away my money. We also got 2 pc bao's which were tasty, but also pretty pricey. The baos I can live with, but the milk tea was just too ridiculous. Can you imagine if I didn't ask for LESS ice? Would it just be a cup of ice for me?
Was my favorite Boba place for yrs. Haven't been in a few months. Was craving a tai tea all day, so I made the drive. It was off. Bitter, the milk was weird & the Boba made the drink really warm.
We were in the area for an event and needed to kill some time. This cafe was within walking distance. They have a good offering of coffee, Boba, smoothies, teas and even Haikaido soft serve ice cream. It's pretty small inside. The staff was nice and we liked our drinks. We had a vanilla latte and chai latte iced with oat milk. Street parking only.. not surprising for the area though.
Good food and service. Check out and support one of your local businesses.
When I came to San Diego for the first time, this was where I got boba. I liked it, but it is nowhere near as gods as other spots around town.
I was new to town and was looking for a boba spot. I found this location on Yelp and trusted that it was a good place to grab a quick drink. Unfortunately, they didn't have the soft serve or parfaits which I was hoping to try. Service was okay and the store is small. Atmosphere of the store was also quiet. As for the drink, I had the Matcha Milk Tea with Lychee Jelly and it was decent. I tasted more of the Lychee Jelly flavor than the Matcha itself.
Absolutely delicious desserts. Soft serve was thick and creamy.
We got the brown sugar and the Vietnamese coffee and both were good. Vietnamese coffee was strong and sweet. Service was good and the place was cute and clean.
